This painful hack bought Tradfi more time but there are four things that haunt Tradfi.
1. The USA spends more than it makes while carrying $40.5 TRILLION in debt.
2. Tradfi is leveraged long that debt and CAN'T pay depositors yield.
3. Stablecoins hold that debt too but they aren't leveraged and crypto native platforms CAN and DO pay yield to depositors.
4. Depositor's Ai Agents will demand yield.
5. The USA has a military (Staying Power) and ~$25B in bitcoin:native

Circle & Tether freeze a cominded $1.79b in stablecoins
linked to suspected Binance hack.
Binance has not confirmed a hack.
EIP-7702 is a feature that went live with Ethereum’s Pectra upgrade (2025). It lets a normal Ethereum wallet (an EOA controlled by a private key) temporarily or persistently “delegate” its behavior to a smart contract.
If you (or an attacker who got your key) sign a delegation to a malicious contract, that contract can run in your wallet’s context and drain everything (ETH, tokens, NFTs). Attackers have used phishing (“sign this to upgrade your wallet” or “enable gas sponsorship”) to get these signatures. Once signed, the delegation can stay active until you clear it, and the attacker can often activate it later without you doing anything else.
