Cancel Culture Is About Getting a Pint of Blood w/ Jim Norton | The Tim Pool Show
I'm joined by comedian Jim Norton to discuss the return of cancel culture, political hypocrisy on both sides of the aisle, the growing obsession with outrage, and how social media is making everything worse. We also get into free speech, the state of comedy, Joe Rogan, and why people seem more interested in being angry than having honest conversations.
Jim Norton is an American stand-up comedian, actor, author, and podcast host best known for his work on Opie and Anthony and Jim Norton & Sam Roberts. He currently co-hosts the UFC's UFC Unfiltered podcast and continues to perform stand-up comedy nationwide.

ILHAN OMAR: HOW PASSPORT FRAUD MAY BE ANOTHER AVENUE FOR PROSECUTION
Seasoned federal investigators know passport fraud may be another path to criminal charges.
18 U.S.C. § 1542 (False Statement in Application)
- Prohibits making any false statement in a passport application, using a passport obtained via false statements, or using a passport with an assumed/false name to hide criminal behavior
The 10-year statute of limitations on passport fraud is reset every time the individual renews their passport if the underlying application records, such as a Social Security Number, were obtained through fraud.
For example, the suspect lied about the true date and place of their birth to obtain a social security number.
HERE'S HOW IT WORKS: AMERICAN TERRORIST
This legal strategy was used to obtain a holding charge for the American terrorist Anwar al-Awlaki after 9/11.
Anwar al-Awlaki was a dual U.S.-Yemeni citizen.
The radical cleric, who became a top al Qaeda leader, was born in Las Cruces, New Mexico, where his parents lived at the time.
He later grew up in Yemen.
When it was time for college, Awlaki gamed the system.
He applied for tuition assistance through the State Department and USAID to finance his studies at Colorado State University.
Awlaki was not eligible for financial support as a U.S. citizen, so he used his Yemeni passport (and false claims about his birthplace) to secure roughly $20,000 in scholarship money.
It was the beginning of the big grift.
When the Joint Terrorism Task Force investigated Awlaki after 9/11 for his relationship and material support of hijackers in San Diego and Virginia, a seasoned federal investigator ran down the scholarship scam.
Unfortunately, the statute of limitations had run out on the USAID tuition fraud.
A State Department Diplomatic Security Agent then discovered Awlaki made false statements to secure a J-1 visa (a non-immigrant visa for educational purposes.)
Once in the U.S., Awlaki applied for a Social Security Number, falsely claiming he was born in Yemen.
Awlaki used the fraudulently obtained Social Security Number to fraudulently obtain a U.S. passport.
The 10-year statute of limitations reset every time the American terrorist renewed his passport.

A winery owned by Ilhan Omar's husband reportedly SHUT DOWN amid allegations of fraud, including claims it sold EMPTY wine barrels to investors.
The controversy sparks a broader discussion about immigration, government assistance programs, and the responsibility of American leaders to prevent fraud and abuse.
"When our leaders invited these people and said 'Go ahead and do whatever you want', this is what you get."

Yea the biggest comedian in the world, selling out stadiums, needs to hear from SNL about how he can be better
If Shane Gillis were to come back to SNL, “I’m sure we would have a conversation … like a little kid” about what he could have done differently, @nbcsnl cast member @KenanThompson tells @sarafischer at #MediaTrendsLive.

Older Americans vote in significantly larger numbers than younger generations, creating a political imbalance that disproportionately affects Gen Z.
As Social Security faces mounting financial challenges, Baby Boomers will continue voting for policies that raise taxes on younger generations to fund their retirement benefits.
WNBA Says Transwomen ARE MEN
🚨 LADIES AND GENTLEMEN OF AMERICA, THE MOMENT YOU’VE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR!
The @WNBA has officially responded!
IS THE #WNBA TRANSPHOBIC?
Apparently, the WNBA still can’t define what a WOMAN is, but they’re absolutely certain they know what a MAN is!
How convenient!
WNBA Commissioner Cathy Engelbert has declared that I am a man.
Who gave her the authority to decide who I am?
Who gets to define my identity?
And how can the WNBA determine who is a man without explaining what qualifies someone as a woman?
Is the WNBA denying people the right to define their own gender identity?
You can’t have it both ways!
America, read this letter for yourselves.
THE WNBA HAS SOME EXPLAINING TO DO!

🚨 CORNELL SEVEN CASE UPDATE
A defendant has been dropped from Jane Doe’s civil lawsuit with prejudice. Orazio Petito, identified in the original complaint as president of Cornell’s Chi Phi fraternity at the time of the alleged October 2024 assault, has been dismissed from the case. His attorney previously pointed out that he did not serve as the fraternity president at the time of the alleged incident. Petito was accused of failing to supervise fraternity members, not of participating in the alleged sexual assault.
