Even if I risk of sounding like Welt (which I certainly don't want to!). I'd like to see Franz and P play for a longer stretch with a reasonably healthy roster before I trade either of them. And yeah, I have no idea what happened to that shot. I'd love to see it again sometime.

I get the sentiment. I'm not sure if it was in year two or three when Franz showed that one-legged fade-away jumper and after that he shot the usual fade-away jumper several times. I'm not sure why he got away from that 🤷🏻‍♂️

I think a lot from what we see of Franz is by design. His job is to handle the ball, penetrate and distribute the ball. Defenses are completely focused on him and attack him everywhere in the court. He's not prime Lebron and we shouldn't expect that from him bc he's a max player.

He sacrifices himself for the team and fans put him into the trade machine. I don't get it. There couldn't be any worse circumstances (again: injuries, new coach, probably shoulder problems) plus a very tough schedule to start the season.

... Franz has to play PG basically surrounded by 3 guards and a center and puts up respectable numbers, even with bad efficiency (as did Paolo when Franz got hurt). What do people expect? 30/11/10 with % of 54/41/92?! ...

I'm not sure if this conversation needs to be after 6 games. Even with the whole roster healthy, I would say we'd need to see 20 games at least under the new coach to make any conclusions. Now we face serious injuries again and that sucks...

- 19.7/6.7/7.8 splits - new coach/system - P5 and Jalen injured (2 Ws 2 Ls since) - mostly defends opponent's best player - plays through shoulder injury Yeah, low efficiency and high TOs. But put him in trade talks after 6 games? Maybe this fanbase doesn't deserve better 🤷🏻‍♂️

Yeah, he had a bad serious as Jalen had. But AB before injury was hooping and his defense with his length would be very helpful against LaMelo.
