The world must know about this Russian barbarism. In occupied Oleshky, around 6,000 Ukrainians remain trapped, cut off from food, water, electricity and gas. Children are suffering from malnutrition, while residents have resorted to eating garden weeds to survive.
Russia’s blockade and the mined roads make evacuation extremely dangerous. And Russian occupation authorities reportedly don’t even allow Ukrainians to bury those killed by drones, landmines or other violence.

More than 6,000 people, including around 200 children, remain trapped in occupied Oleshky. There is not enough food, drinking water or medicine. Critical infrastructure has been virtually destroyed, with no electricity or gas. Russian troops are preventing people from leaving the city, putting civilians at risk of starvation.
That this barbarism is being tolerated in 21st-century Europe is beyond me.
