Nailed it !!! It was absolutely fantastic to see the MetaMakers Innovation Lab meet TinkerTown last weekend as our Makers quickly went from Architects to Master Builders, working working together in teams to make a Castle, A Hide-Out come Pirate Ship and a cute little Puppy🐶
#Throwback 🎉
This polite young man is visually impaired, so worked closely with Grant at TinkerTown to make an artwork of his own design. This is one of our favourite #TinkerTown moments. Always makes us smile!
TinkerTown is a playful place-making event supporting children and families to design and build their own structures from scrap timber. Visitors receive training and tools and are free to play, learn and discover while developing their creativity and construction skills.
If this sounds like your idea of fun and you are a Community Group, School, Nursery, College or Event/Festival Organiser, get in touch! We are open to working with anyone who feels as passionately about children's play as we do!

Interested in hosting or helping out at a future TinkerTown event? We’re just an email away - or have a nosey at our dedicated website (link in bio) to see what TinkerTown is all about!
It’s been a wee while since we last hosted one of our famous TinkerTown den-building events and we’re missing it like crazy!
Luckily it won’t be too long until TinkerTown is back in full blast, so here’s a rundown of our favourite dens ever to grace the TinkerTown stage ➡️
Last week for #childrensmentalhealthweek we took a break from the usual school programming to get creative, play and experiment with our own kids.
This is a tough time, particularly for kids, so make sure to take some time to get outside, to play, to experiment and to discover!
WE’RE BACK! Bringing you #TinkerTown, our most famous playful, place-making event taking Glasgow by storm!
See what all the fuss is about on our #TinkerTown website (LINK IN BIO) or if you are a Community Group, School, Nursery, College or Event/Festival Organiser, GET IN TOUCH!
