I'm working to develop a trial using a personal recording device synced to AI to do something like this for patients undergoing treatment for cancer. You in? 😊
If I was a doctor with a private practice, I would offer to sit with the patient and configure their Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini and Grok with instructions and skills, along with a series of prompts/tasks that the patient can use and that can be shared with the doctor and inform the patient. LLM , every day at 5pm I want you to ask Joe the following questions , and show him your response. Upon completion , I want you to email me everything in this chat Every morning I want you to look for new questions I emailed joe that will come from my email with the subject Questions Rinse and repeat. You get the point. Help the patient use AI to help you help the patient. Thoughts ?

Dear @DrJBhattacharya, I'm sure you're busy with responsibilities as the new acting @CDCgov director, but I'd greatly appreciate an opportunity to discuss with you issues with researchers being able to access restricted use BRFSS data. Just let me know. Best.

Our research on the impacts of COVID-19 on cancer care continues. Hopefully this study can play a small part in improving our healthcare system and making better plans for future disruptive events.
Individuals diagnosed with cancer in 2020 and 2021 had lower 1-year survival than before the pandemic, with greatest impact seen in older adults and non-Hispanic minority groups. bit.ly/4a1qyLy

Interesting article confirming what many of us thought. The COVID-19 Pandemic featured many unintended consequences that tomorrow's experts need to add to their risk calculus. Immunity to S pyogenes and Common Respiratory Viruses at Age 0 to 4 Years jamanetwork.com/journals/jam…

Curious when we'll get word about the release date for the 2024 @BRFSS data from the @CDCgov. It would be good to know so I can quit checking their website hoping today is the day 😔

Just curious if anyone at the @CDCgov has an estimate on when the new @BRFSS data is going to be available? My state says theirs is ready, but they have to wait on the national dataset to be released and embargo lifted.

We have a new editorial out on methodological issues with calculating lung cancer screening estimates from BRFSS data. There is a long way to go to get good data on this topic currently, and it's important that we handle what we do have with care. jamanetwork.com/journals/jam…

Excited to add this work to the conversation about how we fund the amazing work being done by our cancer centers and making sure it's going to impact those most in need.
This study of NCI-Designated Cancer Centers found no association between Cancer Center Support Grant funding and catchment area cancer burden. ja.ma/44UzrEe

Excited to share our new work comparing NCI-Designated Cancer Center catchment area cancer burden to the funding these centers receive through the Cancer Center Support Grant. We believe more work is needed to best address the cancer needs of our nation. jamanetwork.com/journals/jam…

Dear @SecKennedy, could you please make it easier for researchers to obtain restricted-use @BRFSS data? Current options are inadequate. There is so much work we could do to help MAHA with better access to this rich dataset. CC: @HHSGov @CDCgov
