I witnessed a young teacher do something today I have never seen. While reading the story, she said: “Stand up if you know the term, ‘refugee.’ Ok, each of you go to someone who is seated and explain the term to them. We will keep doing this until all are standing.” #Brilliant

When people around you are doing extraordinary work, it’s important to let them know. Educators don’t do their thing for “pats on the back,” but a little bit of validation can provide an extra boost of energy to keep on keepin’ on. Everyone likes to be noticed and appreciated.
