Canton $CC isn't your usual crypto project
It was built by Digital Asset
Backed by Goldman, BNP Paribas, HSBC DTCC & more
That alone speaks volumes.
This wasn't just some one off investment backing either
The same names funding it are now building on it
Let's dive deeper into the ecosystem.
Start with whoās behind it.
Digital Asset was founded back in 2014
At its 2021 raise the focus was Daml, a smart contract language built for financial institutions.
Canton Network is where that work ended up. It went live in July 2024.
What's most interesting here is that the backing of Digital Asset isn't like 99% of crypto projects
It's not VC involvement
It's entities like: BNP Paribas, SP Global, BNY, Nasdaq, Citadel, Goldman, DTCC, Apollo, Coinbase, CME, etc.
This is absolutely NOTHING like a traditional crypto backing list whatsoever.
Now let's look at what's actually building on the network
These 2 stand out.
HSBC Orion
Orion is HSBCās private tokenization platform, running on Canton technology.
Itās already been used for Hong Kong green bonds n a ā¬50 Mil Luxembourg State Treasury note.
May 2025, HSBC launched its Tokenised Deposit Service on Orion.
September 2025, HSBC joined the Canton Foundation.
Then April 2026. HSBC piloted tokenized deposits on the public Canton Network for the first time.
BNP Paribas NeoBonds
NeoBonds is BNP Paribas Global Marketsā private tokenization platform, built with Daml on Canton.
In 2024 it carried the Republic of Sloveniaās ā¬30 Mil digital bond.
First sovereign digital bond for the Eurozone n EMEA.
BNP was Global Coordinator n Sole Bookrunner.
And it settled on-chain using Banque de Franceās tokenized central bank money, under the ECBās wholesale settlement experiments.
The bond n the cash leg, both on-chain.
September 2025, BNP joined the Canton Foundation.
āāāāāāāāāāā
HSBC Orion
Goldman Sachs DAP
BNP Paribas NeoBonds
All built on DAML and Canton.
Each started as a private platform. Now each bank sits inside the same networkās governance.
And DTCC, another early backer, just launched its tokenization service with Canton as the first DLT.
The people funding Canton are the ones using it.
Not your usual crypto project at all.

š¦UK Finance dropped a new update on GBTD
3 Key Points:

Entire platform by $QNT confirmed
ā
New pilot w GBTD & digital assets
Look how Quant's described here:
"Developed by Quant as shared UK INDUSTRY INFRASTRUCTURE for tokenized comm bank money."
We already knew Quant was integral to the overall initiative of GBTD itself
But the way they're describing it here almost makes it seem like we've been underselling how critical this is.
They literally call Quant INDUSTRY INFRASTRUCTURE
You don't earn that name simply by being a one off technical provider at small scale
And with what Quant's enabled with 6 of the largest financial institutions across UK...
Paired with what's happening in US with TCH now,
It's quite deserving of the title industry infrastructure
I don't talk about $TAO all too much...
But they're one of the few non-Enterprise DLT ecosystems I regularly keep up with
Building Decentralized Intelligence On-Chain
A growing ecosystem of subnets encapsulating all things AI utilityā
$TAO isnāt building an AI product
Itās building an entire AI economy on chain
Compute. Inference. Training. Robotics. Agents.
Each one a subnet, each one running live on the network
This is true blockchain & Web3 meeting AI innovation
A āfull-stack intelligence network.ā
Specialized subnets selling services to each other.
Data. Compute. Storage. Pre-training. Inference. Agents.
Not one AI company doing everything.
Hundreds of specialized teams, all plugged into the same chain.
And the networkās already scaled to match.
128 subnets by May, up from 64 when dTAO launched.
129 active as of this month.
Subnets compete for emissions on chain, and subnets that donāt earn their keep get cut.
Now the compute layer.
Lium (SN51) reported about $1.3M in its last full month, roughly 3x a year earlier.
Targon (SN4) reported $10.4M ARR back in April.
Chutes (SN64) moved to Trusted Execution Environments (TEE) and brought its first Blackwell B200 GPUs online.
Private inference, real hardware, running on subnets.
Then training.
IOTA (SN9) continues decentralized training on-chain
Now robotics, which most people donāt expect from Bittensor.
OpenRoboto (SN80) launched a first-person robotics data collection initiative Sept 22.
Sept 25, with Axis Robotics, they released the Open Axis Benchmark, a standardized framework for evaluating robot models.
They even brought a physical xArm 6 online to test winning models on real hardware
AI is no longer just living in software
We're seeing physical automated robotics come to life and Bittensor is playing a role in it.
Meanwhile institutions have been building the on-ramps all year round.
April 21
BitGo and Yuma brought custody, staking and trading for subnet tokens.
June 2
Staked TAO ETP cross-listed on Euronext Paris.
June 25
Yuma launched an institutional fund covering TAO and subnet tokens.
June 29
Kraken announced subnet token listings.
āāāā
Compute. Inference. Training. Robotics. Agents.
A currency to pay between them.
On-ramps for institutions on top.
Bittensor isn't just an "AI token" with a narrative
It's becoming the Web3 AI economy as we speak.
We're putting it all together

⢠Lloyds
⢠DZ
We also see a key Japanese rep for DCJPYšÆšµ
Mai Kaneko, Sr Manager of DCP
DCP provides the network to DCJPY itself
And the DCP Network is built specifically as a regulated multi bank tokenized deposits platform
Exactly what we'd seen with UK GBTD
And what we're seeing now with TCH OCMI
Reminder that DCJPY was also mentioned alongside OCMI and GBTD at SWIFT SIBOS by SMBC tooš
Gilbert's also recently hinted at Programmable Yen next
And we can't forget the partnership with Dentsu Soken at the start of 2026 that set this ALL off

š¦Hints of $QNT x JP Morgan are showing
We already know JPM's 1 of 17 banks in TCH's On-Chain Money Initiative orchestrated by Quant
Now JPM Coin's coming to Ethereum!
QuantNet DIRECTLY mentions integration of JPM Coin and Ethereum for single orchestration framework
But there's more
Look at who posted about this
Oli Harris, Global Head of Kinexys at JP Morgan
For those unaware Kinexys is JP Morgan's own in house blockchain infrastructure.
As a banking DLT, it's quite obviously a private permissioned DLT.
And to bring JPM Coin native to Kinexys onto Ethereum would require private x public DLT interoperability.
Exactly what Overledger offers & the support of JPM Coin even stated in QuantNet's release
In other words...
It's likely infrastructure that Overledger will have to connect to the greater OCMI ecosystem...š
The $XLM Q3 2026 report reveals TRUE growth
Here's what the past quarter brought
š„$4.1B RWA TVL (+548% YoY)
š„$25.1B stbalecoin transfer (+121% QoQ)
š„#2 globally in devs (3,922 active monthly)
š„$33.2B in total volume (+62% YoY)
And look at some of the institutional names expanding their involvement with Stellar this quarter:
US Bank: Live USBDC stablecoin pilot
BNY: Tokenized funds via Marketnode
BVNK: Stablecoin settlement integration
MoneyGram: Joined Stellar's Tier 1 validator set
State Street: Tokenized SWEEP fund w Galaxy
Bank of England: Stellar used in RT2 Sync Lab test
CHFD: Swiss stablecoin consortium deploy on Stellar
We're not just seeing more assets issued on Stellar.
And we're not just seeing more use of payments either.
We're seeing growing infrastructure to MOVE, SETTLE, LEND & UTILIZE those assets on-chain.
š„STRONG Tokenized RWA metrics in $XDC ecosystem
XDC TVL = $1.8B
XDC MCap = $697M
XDC RWA Count: 2,004
There's TONS of room to grow here
But looking at the actual adoption metrics...
2 RWA entities alone have tokenized ~$1.5B in RWA value on XDC alone.
These two are Liqi Brazil and VERT Capital.
What's interesting is both cases actually come out of Brazil, an area we've seen XDC developing around
Liqi Brazil themselves have already brought on over 1,900 total RWAs onto the XDC ecosystem
And VERT Capital's initial partnership announcement with XDC had mentioned up to $1B in total RWAs too
We can see from the RWA asset class list that Private Credit dominates the XDC RWA market share
With over 71% share that's surprising as we often see stablecoins dominate most L1s TVL/RWA lists.
But in XDC's case we're seeing actual RWAs heavily outnumber that.
Most of crypto is still sleeping on what XDC is actually doing in regards to real world utility.
RWAs are just one part to their bigger mission of bringing trade finance on-chain.
As we've since also seen Agentic AI use and deployment across the ecosystem.
These are the exact numbers you want to see out of something that's actually building.
Not just fake hype on-chain metrics
Actual deployment of real world institutional products
āāāāā
Whether it's AI, RWAs, stablecoins or digitalization.
We're seeing digital trade all come together on XDC.

Things have been exciting lately on $AVAX
In the span of ~5 weeks we've seen:
⢠UAEās national digital ID
⢠South Koreaās securities market
⢠Dubaiās DIFC Courts
We're seeing true adoption around institutional tokenization, regulations and govt infrastructure.
The avalanche is truly beginning
Let's trace it back
Start with the UAE.
On September 14, the UAE PASS Digital Vault officially moved onto Avalanche.
UAE PASS is the UAEās national digital identity platform.
Serving more than 12.5 million people.
Over 15,000 services. Verified document sharing across 350 entities.
This isn't some pilot sandbox, this is official national government infrastructure coming on-chain.
Now over to South Korea.
Early September, Hanwha Investment & Securities was reported to be building a tokenized securities platform designed to run on Avalanche & Hyperledger Besu.
Korea has been setting the stage for this too.
Amendments take effect Feb 4, 2027, legally recognizing distributed ledgers as securities registers.
Then came October.
The Korea Securities Depository, KSD, is building an Avalanche-based connection for Koreaās securities tokenization market.
KSD is like the Korean equivalent to US DTCC
Covering issuance, trading, clearing, settlement n investor rights.
Samsung SDS awarded the contract to move it from testbed to a production platform.
Target: February 2027.
And just a day later, Dubai.
Oct 14, DIFC Courts began issuing court orders & hearing records with on-chain credentials on Avalanche's C-Chain.
Each doc gets a unique, nontransferable credential.
Cryptographic fingerprint of file recorded on-chain.
Document itself & confidential case info stay off-chain.
āāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāā
Identities. Securities. Court Records.
Three different use cases, three different institutions.
Same chain underneath.

š¬š§Most still don't see UK GBTD's taking it's next steps
And $QNT seems to have an even BIGGER role now
This is thru UK Gov selecting 4 GBTD banks for tokenized bonds with tokenized money.
HSBC Orion & LSEG will be key components here
And there's 2 focal points screaming Quant
First is legacy to DLT and multi chain interoperability.
The platform will utilize solutions across LSEG's digital markets and tokenized money settlement infra with bonds hosted on HSBC Orion.
We've already seen from QuantNet that HSBC Orion is a supported banking DLT here.
And the hints of HSBC in UK GBTD should make that all the more clear.
(HSBC Orion is built on $CC Canton Network)
There are more hints to Canton Network here such as LSEG's DiSH utilizing Canton infrastructure.
We also know LSEG was recently appointed as a validator on the Canton Network too.
And Quant has also verified that Canton is one of the supported architectures in Overledger.
The other key piece here is the involvement of CREST
Another solution that QuantNet supports.
This one's especially interesting as we recently saw a legal notice of how ALL UK listed shares are to be settled thru CREST.
āāāā
Tokenized Deposits are now running rampant in finance
In the past couple months we've seen
First live tokenized deposit TX enabled thru UK GBTD
US banking giants beginning to establish via TCH's initiative using Overledger.
Japan's stablecoin proof of concept & them now megabanks there building on tokenized deposits
Canada's leading banks also now building around the same banking solution
And it seems with UK GBTD being the first... They're already taking the next steps.
