California governor's race? Becerra leading Stevie Hircsak 61% to 34%. Stevie is going to get his ass kicked. Becerra's first move? .10¢ per mile tax on all Calif cars. On top of what are already the high gas prices in the nation. Voted for Stevie in the primary? Fuck you.

Important info. There are a lot of developing stories about problems with the iPhone Duo. I have a Samsung Flip 5 as my primary mobile device and I've loved it. But it is time to update and I've been torn between the Samsung Flip 8, the Samsung Fold, and the iPhone Duo. I'll be honest, with the problems I keep hearing about the iPhone Duo combined with the (many) problems I keep having with iOS 27.1 on my back up iPhone, I'm not getting anywhere near the iPhone Duo. iFixit tears down iPhone Duo, finds possible causes of early screen failures ... 9to5mac.com/2026/10/25/ifixi…

This is an essential video for seniors to watch. I'll be 72 in a few months. My cognitive abilities and motor skills are pretty much still where I was at 40. A few age related concerns but nothing dire. For now. I believe the predictions in this video. I take after my (maternal) grandmother in most things. I've now outlived her by 5 years. And the clock is ticking. I was talking to a friend the other day about driving. With the exception of a couple back road late night joyrides this past summer, I generally don't drive at night anymore. I love my car but if and when I hit 75, I'll have to take a very close look at whether I should continue to drive. I just watched this video. It's important for seniors to think about where they are. tiktok.com/t/ZPLAGTLex/

As a former educator, I can say this is true. Some of us had to make it on our own though because we had parents too busy reading the labels on bottles of Jack Daniels.

Ilhan Nur Said Elmi. She didn't even need to change her name when she married her brother.
