Cooley is such a beauty.
If you haven't already, go back to the 10-21-26 episode of Flyers Daily and listen to @jasonmyrt talk about ice time and how more minutes doesn't always mean more production. It's a great deep dive.

INCREDIBLE postgame interview with Cole Knuble and fam 👏
PHI @ BUF Postgame: Mike and Cole Knuble
I'm so impressed with how Michkov has embraced the challenge of doing interviews in English. I'm sure it's hard for him, but stick taps for continuing to out himself out there.

What a day/night. I don’t even know what to say, which is very rare for me. But I do want to make one thing clear. That win was not for me. It’s not about me. That win was for every fan. I could see the start of the season was hurting a lot of fans. I am proud of the way the boys came together in that game. They had to deal with some adversity with the Sens scoring first, having to kill a late penalty and didn’t buckle. Now it is onto the next one knowing the only way is to do it is together. Everyone with the same level of of fight and doing their job. Tonight feels good and the fans and players deserve it. Especially when a result like that win is earned through an honest effort with pride. @NHLFlyers

Fwiw Tocchet's job isn't in trouble, I'm told.
Don't expect an imminent coaching change for PHI.

One of most important things with @NHL, and any sport really...
not to overreact to small samples.
That goes for fans
That goes for journalists
That goes for coaches
That goes for GMs
@NHLFlyers have been awful. But need to see big picture.
Also... developing players>playoffs

I challenge you to not get goosebumps watching this.
NHL Opening Night on @ESPN.
I hope they do fine the Flyers. It'll bring even more attention to this ridiculous rule that they're just now trying to enforce.
Philly fans are like Stoop Kid once he realizes he can leave the stoop.
(Yes, I did steal this from @KyleNeubeck. It's a perfect analogy, and I'll always use it.)
It's great to see Michkov's English come such a long way. That should help both on the ice in obvious ways, and off the ice in regards to bonding with the team. I applaud him for trying to do this presser in English, especially when he said how hard it was for him.
A wonderful article about a wonderful man, who I dearly miss. BDG was one of a kind who invited a wide-eyed kid to intern for him. I spent a lot of my formative years around BDG, and he was someone who showed me it was okay to be a bit quirky.
For 22 years, Big Daddy Graham turned late-night radio into an art form.
He never fully appreciated the value of his work.
But that doesn't mean it didn't matter.

It's nice to see people realizing how good Joe Buck is at calling games. He's been incredible since he got his voice back in 2011.
ESPN and Joe Buck have agreed to a 6-year contract extension worth roughly $108M, keeping him as the voice of “Monday Night Football” into the next decade, per @AndrewMarchand.

Barry Melrose was one of those larger than life figures when I was a kid. I could always tell how much he loved the game. He will be missed. Rest easy, Barry, and thank you for the memories.
