If I had a couple of NBA-related wishes, I would use one on keeping Rob Williams healthy

The Celtics trying to take the lead tonight is like being stuck in one of those dreams where you can't run fast.

You would hate to get a reputation as a team that struggles with physicality because then not only do teams have a way to beat you, but also you get hit and pushed a lot more.

It’s pretty wild that the Sixers legitimately asked reporters not to report on the biggest story of the year so far

I for one am shocked to see that a team with Miles Bridges struggles with emotional regulation

Hard to believe the Celtics only lost that quarter by four in the end but this looks a lot like the Celtics-Pacers games from last year: The Pacers are chaotic, dangerous and really streaky.

Best minutes of Walsh's career to date by a wide margin. He has been overwhelmingly positive.

Mazzulla had his choice of about seven very winnable challenges tonight.

That was a very specifically Tatum brand of technical where you can see it brewing all evening because he starts passing the ball harder and harder to the officials.

There is a very good dog at halftime at the C's-Bucks game

Four of the Celtics' last five quarters have been really lackluster.

Going to be thinking about this all night. Cade postered him earlier in the game, and he still jumps the next time. “I GOT THAT FUCKING ONE”

The Celtics have four players in double figures and no other scorers.

Jrue Holiday changed the Celtics from a good team to ‘ruining the league’ level Warriors. And just like gsw you’re focused on wrong thing that makes that team look unbeatable. It’s the ball movement/IQ not the 3s

I also think the Celtics would probably do just fine under any rule change anyway lol it’s tough to scheme against “all our guys are really, really good, and they play smart, cohesive basketball”
Replying to @Tom_NBA
It’s not the Celtics fault that they found a way for there team to be super successful because of the personal they have on the roster it’s up to the other teams to decide to play that way or notice that they don’t have to talent too. But instead he comes off as hating the Celtic

I do honestly think Nick is on to something, but basing rule changes on "the customer is telling you they don't like the product!" is a tough sell when it sounds suspiciously like the customer is really saying "I don't like that the Celtics are this good."
“The league needs to change the rules…You are playing a dangerous, dangerous game.” @getnickwright on the state of the NBA:

The conversation over whether sports fans really want to watch homogenized, mathematically optimized games is very worthwhile IMO, but the people who are making that case the loudest have a ... specific track record of takes and have picked a pretty specific time to make it.
