NEJM should be ashamed for publishing the study. Obvious it would cause controversy and headlines. more importantly are the public health effects, now that news pick up the story and patients are confused or flat out now distrust their physician. nejm.org/doi/full/10.1056/NE…

I am about as unbiased as a G.I. physician could be about the NEJM paper that trashes the value of colonoscopy. The reason is because I don’t even do screening colonoscopy anymore, I sent all of those to my partners who enjoy doing them much more. #Colonoscopy #ColonCancer
