Hey everyone, I need to share some news and an apology.
First, I'm really sorry for being quiet lately. I haven't been feeling well for a while, and yesterday things took a turn –I blacked out and fell, hitting my head on the ground. I was incredibly lucky that my best friend was home.. all I remember is hearing him yell my name and then him helping me up.
I've been dealing with some ongoing health issues, including restless legs syndrome (RLS) that's been affecting my sleep, some nerve pain, and an autoimmune disorder (where my immune system accidentally attacks my own body). We went to the doctor, and they diagnosed me with a concussion, so I stayed in the hospital for 24 hours for monitoring. I'm also now on amoxicillin as a precaution to prevent any potential pneumonia.
Because of all this, I unfortunately have to cancel my streams for this week. I'm so sorry to let you down, and I truly hope you'll come say hi once I'm fully recovered!
For now, I'm just resting and embracing my "unicorn life" 💅
I've got a lovely blue bump on my forehead as a temporary accessory. ( ̄~ ̄;)
Thank you all for your understanding and support. It means the world. 🩵
Oh, wow. 😱
Thanks for that incredibly nuanced take on human interaction. Truly groundbreaking!
Let me get this straight: your entire social strategy is to treat introverts like malfunctioning vending machines that need to be shaken until a snack and a conversation fall out? And you’re.. proud of this labor? You’re framing “offering food” and “checking on them” like you’re a martyr running a charity soup kitchen for the socially silent. 🖖🏻
Here’s a wild concept: not everyone experiences a room, or their own emotions, as a non-stop, real-time broadcast for your convenience. Some people process internally. Some people are content to observe. Some people find large groups draining. This isn’t a defect; it’s a different operating system. And newsflash: your “effort” of repeatedly poking someone who has politely withdrawn isn’t effort, it’s pressure. It’s the social equivalent of jabbing the “close door” button on an elevator.
“You are an adult, not a child.” Correct. And adults get to choose how they engage. They don’t owe you a performance. The fact that you interpret someone’s quiet presence as “killing the vibe” says far more about the fragility of your “vibe” than it does about them. Maybe the vibe shouldn’t be so dependent on everyone mirroring your level of extroversion.
Sincerely, someone who thinks emotional intelligence means understanding that not everyone is like you, and that’s okay.
I dislike introverts who need to be told everything multiple times when in a group setting. You have to keep offering them food, try hard to engage them and check on them to ensure they are ok. They will just sit quietly in a corner and you will never know if they are ok or not, or if they are upset or need care. I hate doing that labour for them.
Like dude you can talk, you are normal! You are an adult, not a child. Please emote, talk and let others know what you want or don't want. Be a part of what's going on and don't kill the vibe by just disconnecting with who's around you.
Sincerely, an extrovert who always puts that effort.
I accidentally craved cat poop cookies... I tell you what happened..
