It is shameful that the govt plans to extend Palantir’s NHS England contract, handing it millions more pounds of public money. Palantir is deeply complicit in Israel’s ongoing genocide against the Palestinian people [1/4]

Hi @bbclaurak,
Zionism has resulted in the bombing of children & the killing of tens of thousands of innocent people in Gaza.
Again - the actual controversy is the Labour Government are arming that & the BBC 'debate' if it's racist.
How's that for answering the question?

Working people in Britain are paying the price for the imperialist aggression unleashed by Trump and Netanyahu.
Andy Burnham must be unequivocal in telling Trump to abandon the war, and should withdraw all British assistance for it.

Petition: Launch a public inquiry into the UK's role in Israeli operations in Gaza
We want the UK Government to launch an inquiry into any British involvement in Israeli operations in Gaza, including the sale, supply or use of weapons, surveillance aircraft and Royal Air Force bases. We believe the UK has played a vital role in Israeli military operations in Gaza.

👉🏿 I was born under a dictatorship and have spent a great deal of my adult life denouncing authoritarian regimes. I am deeply shocked to read the threatening statement issued by the @metpoliceuk . Threatening to arrest people for providing "logistical support" to peaceful demonstrators is the kind of threatening statement we are used to getting from the Ortega-Murillo dictatorship in Nicaragua. This is not what I expect from PM Andy Burnham’s Government. The UK is supposed to be a democracy, where freedom of speech is a pillar of society. Churchill’s words remind us that a true civilisation relies entirely on these liberties to maintain democratic accountability. Criminalising and proscribing Palestine Action as a terrorist organisation is a shameful authoritarian overreach.
Anyone planning to attend a demonstration in support of Palestine Action in the vicinity of the US Embassy on Saturday, 31 October will face arrest as part of a robust policing operation.
Expressing support for the group is an offence under the Terrorism Act following its proscription in June 2025, a decision upheld by the Court of Appeal in June 2026.

Classic Labour. Instead of the obvious solution - nationalisation- we get another toothless quango to 'oversee' how we're getting ripped off.
