❄️ Winter Storm Update #3 🚧
As the storm bears down on Middletown and snow continues to accumulate, please keep the following in mind:
🛻 Public Works is actively plowing major roadways throughout town. More than 120 vehicles have been and will continue to be dispatched for plowing and snow removal as conditions worsen.
🗑️ Monday’s North Zone trash collection is cancelled. If you haven’t already, please bring trash and recycling containers off the street to prevent damage from snow plows.
🎓 Middletown Public Schools will be closed tomorrow.
🚗 Please avoid street parking if at all possible. Move vehicles into driveways or lots so crews can clear roads curb-to-curb.
🚊 NJ Transit service has been suspended.
⚠️ State travel restriction: @GovSherrillNJ and the New Jersey State Police have ordered all non-essential vehicles to remain off roadways from 9:00 PM tonight through 7:00 AM Monday.
Please stay safe, stay warm, and limit travel unless absolutely necessary. #MiddletownNJ

Honored to be at @WhiteHouse today for a series of important discussions on economic development, safety and security, and transportation. @MiddletownNJ has a seat at the table and whenever there’s an opportunity to engage directly with federal leaders on how Washington can support local communities, I’ll always be there to represent our residents. #MiddletownNJ
It was an honor to be at the State House today for the unveiling of the official portrait and pennant of the USS New Jersey, commissioned in @Middletown just one year ago. These symbols will remind every visitor of New Jersey’s proud legacy and Middletown’s place in it. We were there when she was commissioned, we stand with her as she serves, and we’ll always share in her legacy. #MiddletownNJ
Today was one of the most inspiring days as I joined our first responders from across @MiddletownNJ to climb 110 floors in honor of the brave police, fire, and EMS heroes who climbed the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001, to save those trapped in the towers. A heartfelt thank-you to @LifeTime_Life fo for their partnership in raising funds for the Middletown WTC Memorial Gardens Fund! 🇺🇸 #MiddletownNJ
Ahead of celebrating our Nation’s independance, @MiddletownNJ honored our nation in a special way by respectfully retiring more than 1,000 American flags.
Each flag, representing the spirit and sacrifice of our country, was collected from residents and given an honorable farewell. Together, we show what makes Middletown such a proud and patriotic community — and our deep love for this great nation. 🇺🇸 #MiddletownNJ
Today, @MiddletownNJ added 25 more acres of preserved open space with the acquisition of the Mater Dei property. Thanks to the partnership of St. Mary’s Church and support from @MonmouthGovNJ , this land will be protected from development—and remain a space for recreation, play, and community for generations to come!
We’re not just preserving land—we’re preserving the character and quality of life that make Middletown home. The Township Committee and I are very proud to make Mater Dei Park become a reality! #MiddletownNJ
The heat didn’t stop @MiddletownNJ from enjoying the annual St. Mary’s Fair! From games and rides to delicious food, it’s always a beloved tradition with an incredible turnout. Grateful to my friend @Jack4NJ for joining us and showing his support for our community—Middletown always shows up, no matter the weather! #MiddletownNJ
