Still on the road heading back from UnrealFest Orlando, but my heart is full and my mind is buzzing with ideas, inspiration, and gratitude. This was the first event I have attended in four years where I was not speaking, and honestly it was exactly what I needed. A chance to just be present, focus on meaningful connections, and soak up the energy of this amazing community. A huge thank you to @EpicGames @FNCreate for hosting such a memorable and intentional event. Every detail felt crafted with creators in mind. From the sessions to the parties to the honest conversations, it is clear how much they care about building something lasting with us. And to my @fn_alliance team, you all showed up with professionalism, passion, and heart. I am so proud of how you represented us and even more proud of how much fun we had doing it together. It was so great to sit back and recognize how phenomenal this team really is at their jobs! Wish we all could’ve attended but for those that made it happen, thank you for being present and making each moment worth it! Cannot say it enough. Some standout moments: • The Epic Creator Roundtables were some of the most productive and transparent discussions I have ever been a part of (just wish they were longer!) • The State of Unreal announced three major new IPs coming to UEFN and I am genuinely excited for what is ahead (HUGE Win!) • Our Airbnb was massive and gave us space to relax, connect as a team, and even bring my parents along for a well deserved break and to celebrate my dad’s birthday 🎉 • The Creator Party at Epcot ended with a private fireworks show that brought me to tears and had me feeling so loved and valued! • Our TMNT Game Jam map was featured at the TMNT after party, and seeing a custom jersey with MackJack on display was surreal, seriously means so much! 🫶 • The LEGO party was creative and inspiring, with hands on experience using the new Brick by Brick tools and our game with Kaz featured 💜🧱 • Top Golf with the @FNCreativeHQ crew was a perfect reset and always fun to catch up! • So many people came up and mentioned how much they enjoyed my recent appearance on @immaturegamer Creative Juice podcast, seriously guys that means so much! 💜 • We had so many incredible conversations with both new and longtime partners! • We even launched our Jack in the Box Zone Wars map while traveling, which was a huge accomplishment for the team 🙌🏻 • Most importantly, I left feeling energized by how Epic is continuing to evolve UEFN and showing up for this community in meaningful ways 🥰 I did not take as many photos and videos as I normally would have, but I was fully in the moment the entire time. That said, here is a short montage that captures a little of the fun, the energy, and the memories we made. We didn’t have a roadmap, only a deep passion and an unshakable drive to create something meaningful. We took risks, faced countless challenges, and, through it all, not only survived—we thrived. Since then, over a billion players have experienced our games. What started as a small group of friends has grown into a thriving company, now providing careers to 14 talented individuals. We’ve partnered with over 30 remarkable brands, breaking new ground with branded experiences and integrations in Fortnite Creative and UEFN. We’ve created and released over 100 games in Fortnite and though not all have found success, they’ve all been filled with passion and fun. One of our proudest moments came with a nomination for the 2023 Game Awards—a milestone that still feels surreal. Every achievement reflects the creativity, dedication, and vision of our team. And while we’re incredibly proud of how far we’ve come, we know we’re just getting started. Of course, the journey hasn’t always been easy. We’ve faced setbacks, made difficult decisions, lost valued team members, and learned some hard lessons along the way. But through every challenge—both the triumphs and the tough times—we’ve stood resilient. That resilience is what drives us forward, and it’s what will continue to guide us in the years ahead. Our team—our growing family—is the heart of Alliance Studios. Their talent, dedication, and passion make every day worthwhile. To me, Alliance Studios is more than just a company—it’s a reflection of everything I cherish. Very excited to share that I'll be speaking twice at GDC 2024: On Sunday I’ll be speaking on a panel for a Woman’s Creator Brunch led by Epic, this one is invite only, but I’m so excited to speak more on my experiences as a female in this industry and connect with my fellow women!  And on Tuesday I’ll be speaking on a panel with three incredible CEOs. We're diving into the world of building businesses in Fortnite, and I’ll be spotlighting our project, Murder Mystery! We're at the forefront of UEFN, and I'll be sharing insights on navigating the challenges and seizing opportunities within this dynamic space. Our panel is for anyone curious about game development, entrepreneurship, or the future of interactive experiences.
