Cut the Rope: Magic is a gorgeous game, (stunningly so when it was new), w/yet another twist on the formula. While still very enjoyable (& superior to 2), I think the simplicity of the originals suits the series the best. I #JustBeatIt & doubt more content is coming @polykill

By all measures, I should love Sackboy: A Big Adventure. It's good, beautiful, & imaginative. But something about its lackadaisical gameplay, tepid combat & not quite precise control kept me uncompelled. Still, I #JustBeatIt & am working up a better appreciation for it. @polykill

Donkey Kong Land is incredibly ambitious & a favorite from my youth. Maybe the least good of the DKL's, but still a fun & worthwhile #JustBeatIt, especially on GBC (or GBA). The extra color adds needed differentiation & truly improves the experience. Can you get 100% @polykill ?
Few are the games that I'd recommend on visuals alone, but the Monument Valley series is & 3 is no exception. Any frame of this game would be beautiful in an art gallery. Thankfully there's solid gameplay guiding the experience. I #JustBeatIt, all that's available now @polykill
Sheepy: A Short Adventure could (& deserves to) be an 8-20 hour Ori-style gated exploration game, but instead they distilled a similarly evocative experience into just over an hour. I #JustBeatIt and thank @CaptainDrachma for the recommendation. @polykill
Donkey Kong Country 4 is a bootleg that excludes much, even secrets & alternate paths, as it brings DKC to the NES. But you don't play a bootleg for the AAA experience; you play it to see how it apes the OG. It's still impressive despite all that's missing. #JustBeatIt @polykill
With only one path to take in each level, it turns DKC into a linear jumping gauntlet. So in that respect, the DKL games are superior, but this is still an impressive work nonetheless, especially as a pirate game.
