Squeaky clean report for State to start the season
Unrelated note (but sort of related): Top portal departures such as Terrell Anderson, Noah Rogers and Jacarrius Peak will all miss time to start the season
The initial ACC injury report has been released for NC State at Virginia ahead of Week 0.
Cavs' LB Kam Robinson and S Corey Costner. RB Solomon Beebe is officially out, along with WR Rico Flores. NC State freshman WR Tyreek Copper is out.

Kelvin Harmon and Germaine Pratt days away from Wolfpack football
Two absolute studs and leaders of some of Dave Doerenâs best teams
The X-factors for how this season goes could be the two Miami transfers
Jojo Trader and Popo Aguirre
Trader is a former blue-chip recruit and steps into a WR room replacing nearly everyone
Aguirre played 300+ snaps on an elite Miami D but now gets the chance to be THE guy

Weekly state fan cycle of game week
Monday- we gonna win
Tuesday- OMG UVA might be best team in country
Wednesday- Dave has never lost to UVAâŠso naturally we probably lose
Thursday- gonna win. CJ for heisman
Fri- think we might win. Gonna be tough
Saturday- whereâs the bleach
Thatâs 3 straight mornings of walking outside and it feeling like football. Even smells like it a little too
3 mornings from now and itâll be the real thing đș đ
Big one to track this week. Robinson takes that defense up a few notches
#UVa coach Tony Elliott says LB Kam Robinson is a game-time decision for Saturday. Says Robinson is still tracking ahead of schedule from last November's ACL injury, but that it's "a big week" for Robinson.

After a Monday evening videoconference of the Presidents and Chancellors of the Southeastern Conference, the Conference is issuing the following statement:
This graphic is exactly why the Pack truly has a shot to make a run this year
The amount of difference makers at QB in the ACC is⊠low
Should have the QB edge in just about every conference game, and if youâve got that then youâve got a chance

A question we ask every year.
An interesting result: Will Wade received 22% of the vote on this question a year ago, when he was at NC State.
This year? Just 3% after returning to LSU. I think that's a reflection of the coaches not liking how he handled the boomerang back.
CANDID COACHES: Who was the best coaching hire of the 2026 cycle?
Michael Malone? Jerrod Calhoun? Will Wade? Randy Bennett? Bryan Hodgson?
@MattNorlander and I asked roughly 100 coaches. Here's what they told us:

A TON of unknown with the pass catchers and on the D-line. I do like the potential at WR though if the staff hit on a couple of the transfers
Thrilled to finally get NC State on the @TopTierStateX platform! What better time to start up the page than Monday of the first game week
Make sure everybody is doing their part this week to get ready for Saturday
