I think Stella Obasanjo conducted herself with poise and grace and was more interested in helping her husband resolve political differences and manage relationships than in asserting extraordinary powers.
Turai Yar’Adua was crazy enough to lead a whole cabal around her husband. Perhaps she had the experience, having been First Lady for eight years.
Patience Jonathan didn’t have what it takes to navigate these situations in a cunning way or in a manner that made her look like a skilled political operative. Lmao.
Aisha Buhari was probably the weakest of them all. I’m not sure she could even see her husband whenever she wanted.
Since the return to democratic rule in 1999, most Nigerian First Ladies have sought to assert power and influence around the Presidency. most times even in an unusual way .
Mrs. Tinubu’s own , however, is distinctly different. Having served three terms in the Senate and remaining deeply entrenched in political circles, and if you look closely you would see that she is always been like that and has the inclination to actively exercise influence and power.
I also believe that if Seyi Tinubu were her own son, she would very likely have no issue with any of his activities. Mr. Tinubu, for his part, would probably find himself torn on how to manage the resulting tension, given that both are important to him. 💀
There is nothing he does , that Seyi hasn’t done worse .
The guy is just a soft target for them and because probably he doesn’t let them eat. 💀

Honestly I have given up trying to make people understand NDC is an enemy in this election and should be treated as one as for that jack boy he’s a mole holding a very sensitive position in the ADC 🤦♂️

I swear 😂
The Dayo Israel guy was name-dropped by Mr. Tinubu at that City Boy Movement thing, which suggests he is not going anywhere.
Of course, he knows that many of the guys on Twitter in the APC who hate him are just making noise; those who put him there as an errand boy are in the presidential living room. 💀
That your low-IQ description has never been more apt 😭😭😭😂😂😂😂
You can try to run with someone and be unified and if that is not possible , you treat them as an opponent. Not necessarily mud-sliding . Create clear policy differentials and make as many people as possible understand it so they can unify behind you as the only clear alternative .
In a plurality system , the other guy is happy for you to share his anti votes.
Peter Obi made two terrible, campaign-ending policy positions.
Somehow, this hasn’t even ended his campaign or significantly eroded his support. Whenever I think about it, I wonder what kind of electioneering we run here.
Two possible explanations:
1. Political agency is poor, and people don’t even understand or care about these things.
2. His opponent (the ADC) failed to nail him to the cross on them.
Like just explain these things clearly and repeatedly and create real differentials . But yeah. Make we dey carry am as e be dey go.

Egbon all those ones nah comedian jare .ife salako that lost primary to a woman.
But my leader Dey inside the campaign council
Moshood Salvador.
He is not doing any permutations . Don’t color it . He lacks the conjones that’s it .
When you are on an opposing campaign there is no reason to continue romanticing your opponent.
These are Obi guys who will never bring themselves to cross him. They see him as hero .
And on the permutation thing . treating the field as a friendly anti-APC project rather than a competitive contest for the largest possible anti-Tinubu bloc is a mistake !
This dynamic makes a clear coalescing harder .
Look ! take here as a sample Obi continues to retain critical support amongst many young or even middle class low propensity voters . Minus the bulk of his base who are igbos !
Ordinarily the only clear alternative to Mr Tinubu in this election for majority of those who wants him out should be Atiku. Rn, it’s not because of these dynamics .
