WIP series comes to an end. This is a female base model made from scratch for animation, designed with Cycles rendering in mind. What started as a warm-up project received far more responses than I could have ever expected, luckily and thankfully.

Of course, the model isn't fully finished and will be continuously refined from now on. Thanks to everyone who followed along with these posts.

By far the toughest Blender task I've ever tackled It was a nightmare to figure out domain interpolation But I'm glad I can finally bypass Blender's janky rigid body simulation for hair physics

Weights alone can't fix wrist candy-wrapping. Fixing the twist just turns the arm into a noodle. That's why you need twist bones. #b3d

Solution applied. Genius! Why didn't I think of that? No need to struggle with feet, just put shoes on! #b3d

There's a solution to this actually. It's called "shoes"

Reference images naturally have perspective. Tracing them in front-ortho distorts the model in perspective view. Visualized: Left: Correct perspective matching Right: Traced in front-ortho (1m perspective ref) #b3d
