Just got my water bill. Am using 3% less water, but my bill has gone up 62%. @thameswater is the worst.

It’s #SmallCharityWeek, so sharing a bit about @StepneyCityFarm that I work with. Though small it has a massive impact benefiting the local community 💚 with a welcoming green space in the heart of the east end of London; cultivating wellbeing through farming

Sad news of a break in at @StepneyCityFarm - 1 of at least 2 city farms (small local charities) targeted in the same night. If you have any info to help catch the culprit, please call the police on 101
‼️BURGLARY‼️ Sadly this man smashed our window & burgled the Farm office. This is despite us spending precious charity resources on increased security measures. We had a wasted day dealing with it, plus the violation of our space. If you recognise him please contact the police

This @Specsavers article hooked me in with 'eye yoga'. Which doesn't work 🙄specsavers.co.uk/eye-health/… But some thing that does relax eye muscles and ease digital strain is the 20:20:20 rule: Take a break every 20 mins Focus your eyes on something 20 ft away For 20 seconds

If you are interested in being a trustee, I would definitely recommend it; you get to put your skills to good use and learn more too. It's a real honour for me to be a part of @StepneyCityFarm as a trustee there
It’s #TrusteesWeek! This year, we’re celebrating the individual talents, viewpoints and experiences each trustee brings to their charity. Access free guidance and resources, and find out about this week’s range of events: trusteesweek.org/

Today is both #InternationalYogaDay and #GlobalMNDAwareness Day. They’ve had a massive impact on my life. Motor neurone disease happens when cells in the brain and nerves gradually stop working and it gets worse over time.

Moving around, swallowing and breathing get increasingly difficult, and treatments like a feeding tube or breathing air through a face mask may be needed. The condition eventually leads to death, but how long it takes to reach this stage varies a lot.

My mum, who died last year, had MND, although she was practising yoga with me until just 2 months before her death. I truly believe that her life long practice of yoga - including pranayama - stood her in good stead for the challenges she faced.
