Here we go again, folks. COVID levels are rising fast, the medical system is desperately trying to stave off disaster, the Premier and CMOH are once again showing their incompetence, and we are headed back towards a full lockdown. This was all so avoidable...

Ontario's hospitals' COVID situations are currently at the depressingly familiar stage of the @OntHospitalAssn, the @RNAO, and various ICU docs sounding the alarm and begging for action (which to date has predated actual action by a week or two)

Shelters work with their residents. Supportive housing works with their tenants. Outreach works with folks sleeping rough. Drop-ins work with all of these people, plus low-income people of all identities and housing situations. We're the social service that catches everyone.

By definition, people in prison are vulnerable to COVID - they live in congregate settings with no control over their ability to isolate or distance. This tweet from O’Toole is bad public health policy - there have been many deadly COVID outbreaks in prison. It’s also just cruel.

We've been busy! This has been our biggest meal give away yet. 78 complete packaged meals with snacks. With an army of 6 after collaborating with @IntakeStatus. We prep Wed & Thur night. Last lasagna out of the oven at 2pm Christmas 🤶 day, and meals delivered by 3pm #Success
