The vote DOES matter, but people just vote every 2 to 4 years then go back to sitting on their ass.
Replying to @TorraineWalker
Black people still think their vote matters, but a check matters far more than that vote.

Because voting independent would hurt the bottom line of our political and media sheepherders.
As Black people why are we so pressed to be Democrats instead of being Independent?

I hate when Celebrities get in front of Democrats to rally for Black people waiving liquor and food like we stupid. Where is the actual information? We not at the club
Can the Democrat Party get any more cringe..!? Jasmine Crockett is now touring Houston polling places telling Black voters to show up for the party that's been flooding their neighborhoods with illegal immigrants. The jobs, the housing, the schools, the hospitals — it's THEIR communities that pay the price first. Not the Democrats living in gated neighborhoods. It’s also hilarious that Texas Democrats didn't even want Crockett. She LOST her Senate primary to Talarico now she's stuck being his hype woman. lol

A Baltimore librarian quit her full-time job after kids on her stoop told her they didn’t have a single book at home. Now Storybook Maze runs a green-and-gold trolley that gives free books to 50 to 130 readers a day. Her goal is 500,000 books in five years.

Black men like that have been systematically removed, marginalized, or "disappeared" from the mainstream of American political and academic life.

Brother, you are always on point! This is a deeply rooted problem in public education. When you are a Black male educator with a commanding voice, a masculine presence, intellectual confidence, and the ability to articulate educated, independent thoughts, you’re a problem!

I said poor and working class.
That's not true. Gov of Maryland Wes Moore, Mayors of Baltimore, Chicago, Memphis, Houston and Atlanta are black men. Hakeem Jeffries will be speaker of the house. 3rd in line from the presidency. We gotta stay active and engaged as black men to stay in leadership.

I have a story about this: I was scheduled to be a guest on a news program with Cube to discuss his plan. I got bumped a couple hours beforehand and the person they got to appear on the panel instead of me was... One of the women who founded the Black Lives Matter "org." Yeah.
I knew it was cooked when Ice Cube tried to get black people to come together and give a list of tangible demands to presidential candidates and you would’ve thought he released Mein Kampf: The Sequel. Still the funniest shit ever.
