We are having the best last day of term. We have made the Eiffel Tower out of different materials. We have also had a water fight! 🌞
Toucan class has been thinking about what it means to be a great friend. They came up with some lovely ideas and wrote letters to their friends.
Today, we had a fun day baking bread. We learned how to follow a recipe, the importance of kneading and proofing the dough. The bread turned out fantastic!! Well done bakers!!👏👨🍳👩🍳🥖
Great aspirations afternoon. We learned what it means to be a joiner and created prototypes of furniture out of cardboard.
We had a fantastic time at Magna on Tuesday. The children were able to apply their knowledge of forces and magnets. They had lots of compliments on their knowledge and behaviour. I am very proud of them! 🌟

A little look at some of the things we have been up to in class this week. We have been measuring perimeters, starting our new portal unit in English and finishing our mining helmets in DT.
For today's hook in t4w we came together with @Y3Merlin to watch Narnia. We will be focusing on portal stories for this new unit. The children can't wait to get stuck In. #talk4writing #English
This week has been mental health week. The theme has been "my voice matters". We have played lots of games and discussed why it is important to listen when our friends talk to us. We have also learned it is important to be ourselves and all our voices matter! 👂🗣🫂
Today, we had a dance workshop with @Y3Merlin to celebrate Chinese New Year. We learned about the story behind the Chinese New Year which the children acted out then worked on a dance together.
We had a wonderful trip to Worksop Islamic Society Trust. I am so proud of all the children. They learnt so much and asked some amazing questions! @DeltaNorbridge
Today, we have started our new unit of measurement today. We had fun measuring things around the classroom.
