I'm TraderMoz, 20, @FTMO_com Funded DAX day trader.
Trading now for 2 years, but I blew 13 accounts & I went through what all new traders do.
Now I share my biases, articles, and journey – all free to help my audience grow.
Grinding too? Follow!
As a trader here’s 3 things you HAVE to accept:
1. Each trade is individual, don’t let your past trades affect the next one.
2. All you need succeed is risk management, good psychology and a system.
3. You can’t control the market, all you can do is react to it.
Trade like a falcon.
90% of the time, you’re waiting.
9% of the time, you’re stalking price and waiting for your setup to align.
Only 1% of the time, you’re actually executing the kill.
Most traders have this backward, start thinking like a predator not prey.
My trading journey summarised year by year:
2024: Bought my first mentorship
2024 to late 2025: Blowing multiple accounts, passing a few here and there but grinding, and continuing to get better.
However, still unprofitable.
August 2025: First process driven payout.
Motivation increased alot.
September 2025 - H1 2026: Passed 7 funded accounts and processed 29% in verified payouts.
H1-H2 2026: Consistently improving, working hard, and coding my first startup.
The difference between me and everyone?
I stayed consistent, didn't let failures define me, and kept REFYNing my process every day.
I keep hearing traders refer to "Biden price action" as if it were some golden era for intraday trading.
The Ukraine war, soaring inflation, aggressive interest rate hikes and COVID-19's peak years all happened during his presidency.
Markets weren't exactly quiet back then either.
Every presidency brings different market conditions. Learn to adapt to the market in front of you.
And stop romanticising a past you never traded.
I usually have a 1-2% daily loss limit too.
In my opinion, if you hit a firm's daily loss limit, you are definitely overleveraged.
You need to size down or take fewer positions and focus on your risk management.
Because ideally, no trader should hit the Max Daily Loss.
Casinos remove advantaged players when they start winning too much.
Do you really think prop firms won't do the same once you become profitable?
In H1 this year, I passed 4 funded accounts and received 29% in verified FTMO payouts.
In Q3, I made nothing.
And here's something traders don't talk about enough:
Your edge can fluctuate over time.
You can have two great quarters followed by one where nothing seems to work.
That doesn't automatically mean you've lost your edge.
The real test is whether you can manage the difficult periods without abandoning your process, forcing trades or taking unnecessary risks.
Trading isn't about being profitable every month.
It's about having a process you can stick to through the good and bad periods.
Every successful trader I know was delusionally optimistic when they first started.
The difference between them and everyone else is that they kept on going.
Having trading as your only source of income is extremely difficult.
Trying to balance bills and rent with a career that fluctuates is unnecessarily stressful.
That's why smart traders diversify their income beyond the charts, so a bad quarter doesn't derail them completely.
Social media standards are stupid.
The 8 screens, supercars and penthouse lifestyle is mostly peddled by people who need to sell a course.
Most traders I know live normal, relaxed lives and trade from one monitor or a laptop.
You don’t need a flashy lifestyle to prove you’re successful at trading.
And don’t think you’re behind just because you don’t match a “course sellers” inflated idea of a lifestyle.
One piece of advice for new traders:
Focus on your process before you even think about the outcome...
Focus on building a system, testing it, and refining it and once you have a consistently profitable system...
ONLY then start thinking of buying accounts.
If you can make 2% consistently a month, you’re profitable…
Hear me out:
2% on 10k = 200
2% on 100k = 2000
2% on a 500k portfolio = 10,000
You can be making 5 figures a month of just 2% returns which is something every trader can hit.
So focus on capital, not % returns and trust me you’ll make it!
People need to realise that they won't be profitable unless they become more serious.
If you're still revenge trading, giving in to stuff like FOMO, you won't make it.
Start treating trading like a business; you're not an employee anymore.
There’s certain types of people I cut off immediately if they show me this personality trait.
And I recommend everyone reading this does the same, because these people will genuinely hold you back.
And that’s the person who sees your wins and, rather than hyping you up and being proud of you.
He seethes inside because your success reminds him that he had the same 24 hours in his day to do something, yet he did nothing.
It’s genuinely so annoying to be around such people, because they take your success as a personal sucker punch to the face.
They sit there, genuinely and silently hating on success.
And you’d actually be surprised how many people are like this. Later, they soothe their ego by telling themselves that your success was luck.
And that anyone can do it?
Brochacho, if it was that easy, go ahead and try to replicate what I’ve put myself through for the past 3 years.
They won’t be able to.
Why? Because, at the end of the day, it’s their laziness and acceptance of comfort that led them to where they are.
They won’t do what I do because it’s simply hard.
So they do what’s easier, silently hating themselves and projecting it onto me.
To all the people trying to build something extraordinary with their lives, just remember one thing.
Hate rarely ever comes from above; it’ll always come from below.
But just like hot air rising, use it to propel yourself higher.
Don’t let it pull you down.
And get rid of negative people and negative energy.
It’s not worth carrying them to the top.
