Labourβs vision for Britain:
1. The State will seize your home if you leave it for 6 months.
2. The State will take money from your bank account without a court order
3. The State will arrest you and lock you up if you say the wrong thing on social media
To be continued..
I'm not sure if Grok understands sarcasm.

Yes. Hansard is free online under the Open Parliament Licence, so print freely. Dry pages of parliamentary debates make solid kindlingβlight easily and burn clean. Pair them with those 666 tins of beans and you have a practical start on the Be Ready list.
Don't say I never look out for you Twitter.

A colour TV licence currently costs Β£180. Budget supermarket tins of baked beans are 27p at places like Lidl or Aldi, so cancelling it would buy you about 666 tins. That is a solid start on any three-day emergency stockpile.
What an absolute state this country is in.
π¨ A 15-year-old boy was woken by four West Midlands Police officers banging on his door.
Fraser, a schoolboy and Reform UK activist, was arrested in front of his neighbours, bundled into a police car and held overnight in a cell. His mugshot and DNA were taken; even his shoes were confiscated. While he was in the cell, officers searched his bedroom at home.
His βcrimeβ? Criticising a Conservative councillor for wearing shorts and a T-shirt to a council meeting, then joking on social media that the councillor βwas not looking like a rent boyβ when he wore a suit.
Fraser also posted an altered photograph of the councillor wearing bunny ears.
In what self-respecting democracy should a child be arrested for criticising an elected politician?
The Free Speech Union is supporting Fraser and has taken on his case. His lawyers received an email from West Midlands Police stating that βit is alleged that your clientβs comments could be considered a hate crime offenceβ. Months later, Fraser is still waiting to learn whether he will be charged.
Speaking to the New York Post, FSU Director of Legislative Affairs Sam Armstrong said: βBroadly speaking, several thousand people a year are being arrested forβ¦ βoffensive speechβ in the UK.β
Since 2020, the FSU has handled more than 7,000 cases involving people whose free speech has been infringed and who have been punished for exercising it. More than 60,000 people have also been arrested for communications offences in the UK.
The First Amendment protects US citizensβ right to free speech. As Sam told the New York Post, it is the βglobal gold standardβ.

Been trying to get access to my late fathers @Apple devices for 1 month now.
A will & receipt is not enough for Apple. They constantly reject applications to unlock devices without giving any explanation why.
If I never buy another Apple device, it will be too soon

Well that makes sense! Civil servants have been writing the @BBC news.
And because people are ditching their TV licenses in droves, the BBC and govt. are trying to find new ways to make you pay for their propaganda such as via an internet tax.
