Getting some good questions! Keep 'em coming. The weirder the better 👁️

Somehow we're just a little over a month away from the one year anniversary of Detective Instinct's release, and I'm thinking about making a Q/A type video to mark the occasion. Send us a question with this form if there's anything you'd like to know! docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1F…

Like Star Fox before it, the OoT remake makes me feel weird, and I know it's going to give me mixed feelings and sobering thoughts about art, aging, and the passage of time. Can't wait of course, here's a little sketch of the new Bombchu girl I finished a bit ago 😀

Yes, we are, in fact, 30% for the Steam Autumn Sale. But did you know we also have bundles available with 3 other recent ADVs/VNs? Even if you've already played our game, you should check our bundle list, might be able to get a better deal on some new games 👁️ ⬇️

A few of us from the Detective Instinct team, among many other friends, made a game for GBJAM this year! Definitely one of the more bizarre and ambitious things we've done for this jam over the years 👁️

As usual, I composed a few tunes in a GB style for it (in collaboration with our friend Lexou). This one's my favorite, a sort of stupid Herb Alpert pastiche that would feel right at home in a Pokemon game room or something.

While we're all talking about remakes - what this game did is fascinating. Preserves the original game near 1:1, but adds a brand new scenario that frames it, almost like it contains its own sequel. Very unique approach, really expanded my thoughts on what a remake can do.

Playing Mr. Horii’s remake of the adventure game “The Hokkaido Serial Murder Case The Okhotsk Disappearance.” Enjoying a nostalgic game. Time management is important. Shifting some of my movie and reading time to games.

Summer is coming to an end, so why not study abroad this semester and solve a mystery in Detective Instinct? 🚂 Our spin on DS-era mystery adventures is 30% off on both Steam and Switch for the next two weeks. Check it out!

Still so cool to me how Emio was an unapologetically classic FDC-style command-select adventure. It's one thing for freak indie devs like us to do it, but for Nintendo to release a brand new game like that with no compromises really surprised me. They should do it again!

Happy 2nd anniversary to "Emio - The Smiling Man: Famicom Detective Club"! This game's very special & it still feels like a dream to me that it even exists. A modern masterpiece that's also one of my favorite ADVs of all-time so please check it out if you haven't!

This wasn't hypothetical by the way, we did do that. And if you like Famicom Detective Club/Emio, odds are pretty good you'd like our game, too (it's also on Switch!) store.steampowered.com/app/2…
