So we opened our second trash to treasure shop in Dungarvan. Had a busy day, started to worry about how fast the shop was emptying. Got messages about 3 more clearances for next week.

Exciting times, built a business using circular economy with no funding, 2 years in, no debt, opening second shop in Dungarvan. Insurance through today. Wanted to change the world so I did. We have changed the world for everyone involved. Won't have to squash furniture in anymore

Countdown is finally on. Second trash to treasure shop opening soon in Dungarvan. Excited doesn't even come close. Non funded business supported entirely by circular economy is now supporting 7 jobs.

We were delighted to provide some of the furniture for this production.
I’m SO thrilled to finally announce the most recent documentary I’ve been working on “Lily and Lolly: The Forgotten Yeats Sisters” which will premiere on International Women’s Day, Friday March 8 on Sky Arts and Now

When this two door record storage cabinet came in I didn't hold out much hope for it, but structure was good, so I took the doors off, painted it and found the perfect wallpaper to decoupage it.

Wooo Hooo!! We've been shortlisted for a Pakman award, it's only the most sought after award in the waste industry. We'll have to fundraise to get to Dublin, but, we'll get there.

Finally got a lick of paint on the building and it looks great. 1 year after opening, business is booming, so many lives changed for the better, hundreds of items of furniture rescued from landfill and Zero debt.

We were busy this week, preparing a house for sale. Don't you love a good before and after?

We are fundraising at the moment by inviting people to join our community shed. We want to turn our mixed community shed into the biggest shed in Ireland. Membership is just €5. Be part of our inclusion dream. gofund.me/b1af4851

I refinished a table today and decided good enough is not good enough. Love the redo.

This week we covered a lot of miles in the van. We had a couple of deliveries to Kilkenny, Newross, Longford and Cork. How did we ever survive without our van.

I love finding something like this that someone has thrown out. It's amazing what a good scrub and a lick of paint can do.

Today some of our team decided our 16 year old van needed a trash to treasure makeover.

It's great to have the opportunity to get the word out there about our project. Changing lives is our goal.
As part of Déise Today's ongoing series that focuses on inspirational local communities around the county, @damienwlr travelled to Ballinamult to chat with Cora Kearney about their Trash to Treasure Project Waterford initiative ⤵

We finally have a van on the road to offer our customers collections and deliveries. I hoped, but never dreamed this little enterprise would be doing so well.

Our day was made today, a couple of traveller families turned up for our car boot sale and they were an absolute pleasure.
Major renovation works begin tomorrow, our volunteers include a guy that owns scaffolding company, a roofing company, 2 engineers, a carpenter, an electrician, an environmental scientist, a horticulturist, a welder and a stone Mason. Now we just need supplies as we are non funded
I can understand why a lot of businesses are closing at the moment, last electric bill was 280, bill that arrived on Friday was 650 with no changes to usage. This is just a light bill for 6 hours and running a sander every day for 2 hours.

People's generosity is humbling. On Monday a group of volunteers are coming to work on our building, replacing floor upstairs, building accessible toilet, fixing leaking roof, HSE standard kitchen, and new stairs. We are no longer alone, we are officially a community.
