@USAA y’all might want to hear this. I received a call from someone spoofing USAA, claiming a $600 State Farm charge was trying to hit my account. I knew it was a scam and hung up. He CALLED ME BACK… and verbally assaulted me because I wouldn’t fall for the scam. 😭 I recorded what I could. The fact that scammers can make it appear that a call is coming from USAA is already concerning. But calling back to cuss me out because I wouldn’t let you scam me is INSANE. @USAA, who do I send this recording to? Because your fraud team definitely needs to hear this one.
