You need to practice everyday and never forget that butterflies do not use their mouths to taste food; they have taste receptors located directly on their feet.

I think enough is enough. Let’s stop complaining about the state of the music business, sales, genres, etc. Let’s continue to collaborate, innovate and keep pushing boundaries and share these stories. Greatness take time!
I can’t lie…. I think I found a one of the best song writers I’ve come across in a decade on my live stream last night.
This guy is living in Ohio, working a 9 to 5 and just dropped his first song on streaming 26 days ago.
He’s dropped 3 songs since…
ALL FOUR SONGS ARE BANGERS!
He has 300 listeners on Spotify and less than 300 followers on instagram.
Most labels and managers wouldn’t go near this as it’s going to take too much heavy lifting and no one wants to do development anymore.
I see this as a golden opportunity to build something from the ground up, again.
So excited to have had my passion reignited!! Time to get to work
We will see the largest shift we have seen in the music industry since streaming was implemented in 2027.
Independent artists will now have everything they need to run their business from their phones whether they have a team to help them or not.
What an exciting time to be a musician!!
I put on wiz, I’m automatically a music business superhero. Can overcome anything and anyone.
When you put in the work, it’s definite.
It’s like I just put on that MGK and just every single worry or self sabotage moment I have in my life is completely gone.
Being lonely, in the music business is a good thing, some times, it really gets you focused on what you need and not just what all your peers want.

One artist who consistently buys your beats is worth more than 100 who just ask for links

One of the things I’m most proud of is letting my music reflect who I’m becoming even tho I already know how to make music as the person my audience first met. I think a lot of artists get stuck in the trap of constantly writing about the same shit they were writing about when the world first heard them. It’s definitely the safer play but for me it’s just not as fun to return to a subject over and over with nothing new to say about it just cuz you think it’ll sell or cuz you feel obligated to stay who your audience first met out of fear they won’t connect with who you are now. And maybe they won’t. But I mean shit, do you fw you tho lol like do you fw just being shackled to a perception of yourself? Imo that’s just super crippling and a confidence killer...very slippery slope lol challenging yourself to make GREAT music from the various stages of your life is hella fun and very freeing and the reward outside of fulfillment is longevity. Random thoughts but yea 🥂
stay in joy and you get joy!
stay optimistic, shit just gets better, regardless of the outcome.
genuinely, thats rich!

J. Cole EXPLAINS why MEN should have someone they can vent to:
“As men, we don’t have a lot of places we can go to just vent.. When Mark Pitts Calls, I just know how to ask the right questions to really get to the bottom of how he’s feeling.”
Cole Adds, “most men don’t want to tell it and most of the world don’t want to hear it… But listening is a Service. Listening is an act of love. Asking the right questions is an act of care.”

In 2020, the Grammys snubbed ‘MY TURN’ for Album of the Year, then asked Lil Baby to perform.
His team told him to decline. Here’s what he said instead,My GOAT in Every Lifetime 🖤:
