Today I expanded my role as a Senior Editor at @MPMIjournal a little bit 😄 I spent a few hours walking through the posters at #PlantHealth2026, and whenever I came across a study that I thought would be a great fit for the journal, I left an invitation to submit 👏 There is so much outstanding science being presented here, and I hope to see many of these exciting projects make their way into the journal! We want your science at @plantdisease journals 💪

Today I’m reflecting on a journey I could never have imagined: from #Bosnia to #Tennessee, from surviving war to becoming a full professor @UTKnoxville. And tonight, my two countries meet in a #WorldCup2026 qualifier - Bosnia vs. USA. What a bittersweet, beautiful moment. 🇧🇦🇺🇸 – at Knoxville, TN
