Bro what did SMG4 ever apologize for? As far as I know, the only thing he ever made a statement about related to anything controversial, was on Discord about Starman being a groomer. Any videos featuring him are now deleted or delisted.

There's a funny double standard here. With older Pokemon games, people argue that you have to play the game on its own terms and it's the player's fault for not engaging with every mechanic as intended. But they almost never apply this thinking to modern Pokemon games.

The problem with HGSS apologia it answers arguments in a vacuum and not in context. For example you can rematch trainers. But only once a week and will randomly call you for flavor text. The unreliability of trainer calls and the astonishingly low level curve hurts the pace.

One year ago, I'd animate the Rap Battle for the final WOTFI- Worlds Collide. To this day, I still wish the show could've gone on a little longer. But I'm still forever grateful to have been a part of #SMG4's history. Thank you all again for letting me be part of it all.
