With X Communities being phased out, we’re moving the Trench Tools community to @CoinComms by @pumpfun.
We’ll use it for product updates, feedback, feature discussions, community coordination, and everything around open Solana trading infrastructure.
If you hold $TRENCHTOOLS, make sure to join. This gives us a better place to organize, grow the community, and help shape the next phase of Trench Tools together.

The next big shift in Solana app revenue will come from opening up the infrastructure users already depend on.
Execution is one of the biggest revenue layers on Solana, and @TrenchDotTools starts there by giving traders the same tools, workflow, and low-latency execution they already rely on, but with 0 platform fees through open-source infrastructure they control.
But execution is only the first layer.
The broader goal is to push deeper into the launchpad layer itself, explore DAO-governed launchpad infrastructure, and make more of Solana’s trading stack open, accessible, and lower-fee.
Trench Tools Fee Audit, Episode 2: Cented.
This one features @Cented7 / @flipski77, a high-volume Solana trader recently at the center of CT attention.
Across 9 wallets shown in the reference, Cented has done about $116M in verified volume and about $10M in realized PnL.
Even with strong realized profits, percentage-based fees still add up. They look small per trade, but become a real drag once volume compounds.
Based on verified wallet volume, here is the rough math:
Total verified volume: $116M
Total PnL: $10M
Estimated fees at 1%: $1.160M
Estimated fees at 0.75%: $870K
Fees as % of PnL at 1%: 11.60%
Fees as % of PnL at 0.75%: 8.70%
The main wallet in this set was funded on Jan 31, 2025.
From Jan 31, 2025 to May 27, 2026, a self-hosted Trench Tools setup at roughly $80 per month would have cost about $1,270 in infrastructure.
So over that same period, using Trench Tools would have saved roughly:
$1.159M versus a 1% fee model
$869K versus a 0.75% fee model
That means his PnL would have been about:
11.59% higher versus a 1% fee model
8.69% higher versus a 0.75% fee model
Trench Tools gives Solana traders the same UX and low-latency execution as fee-based platforms, but with zero platform fees through open-source infrastructure they control.
At a 1% platform fee, the break-even is only about $8,000 in monthly trading volume.
After that, fixed infrastructure cost beats paying a percentage on every trade.

there are rumors of undervalued tech coins hiding within the pump fun ecosystem
People keep asking why I built @TrenchDotTools fully open source.
The PR answer is I want to help solve the billion-dollar extraction problem Solana traders are quietly facing by giving them a way to own their execution and stop paying platform fees on every trade.
The honest answer is I got tired of @mert’s bald PFP blinding my timeline, so I built something that sends more traders to @helius and brings the Mert hair transplant fund one customer closer to reality.
Dark mode can only do so much.
Version 1.1.6 of @TrenchDotTools is now live!
Sorry for the wait. I wanted to get some important improvements in before shipping.
The new Pump USDC update is now enabled across both Execution Engine and LaunchDeck.

Version 1.1.5 of @TrenchDotTools is now live!
This release adds PnL cards, a bunch of UI upgrades and cleanup, more efficient logic across the extension and engine, plus improved Axiom/Pulse support.
Check the changelog for the full list. More soon.

It’s official: USDC pools are coming to @pumpfun on May 21.
Support is already live in @TrenchDotTools, so you’ll be ready from day one.
I’m also working on a new update that I’m aiming to ship tomorrow, along with a simpler setup flow and a video guide to help you get everything running in under 5 minutes.
Making the move to zero platform fees even easier.
Version 1.1.3 of @trenchdottools is now live.
This release adds support for the new @Pumpfun v2 methods, laying the groundwork for their upcoming USDC pairs, plus improved wrapper validation, cleaner Pump v2 buy/sell handling, and more stable Axiom token-detail actions.

Introducing @TrenchDotTools Fee Audit.
Episode 1 starts with @Cupseyy , one of the best-known and most legendary on-chain memecoin traders on @Solana.
Across 4 known wallets, Cupsey has done at least $338.1M in reported volume and about $35.06M in PnL.
That makes him a strong example of how percentage-based fees scale with volume, and how much they cut into the returns of even the best-performing traders over time.
Using reported wallet volume as the base, here is the rough math:
Total reported volume: $338.1M
Total PnL: $35.06M
Estimated fees at 1%: $3.381M
Estimated fees at 0.75%: $2.536M
Fees as % of PnL at 1%: 9.64%
Fees as % of PnL at 0.75%: 7.23%
The first wallet in this set was funded on Oct 12, 2024.
From Oct 12, 2024 to May 16, 2026, a self-hosted Trench Tools setup at roughly $80 per month would have cost about $1,530 in infrastructure.
So over that same period, using Trench Tools would have saved roughly:
$3.379M versus a 1% fee model
$2.534M versus a 0.75% fee model
That means his PnL would have been about:
9.64% higher versus a 1% fee model
7.23% higher versus a 0.75% fee model
Trench Tools gives Solana traders the same UX and low-latency execution as fee-based platforms, but with zero platform fees through open-source infrastructure they control.
At this level of volume, switching from percentage-based platform fees to fixed infrastructure cost is a no-brainer.

Hey @mert, I built @TrenchDotTools, open-source trading infrastructure using @Helius to help solve the billion-dollar extraction problem on Solana.
Helius makes it possible for anyone to self-host near-instant execution for trades and deploys without needing expensive private infrastructure or paying platform fees forever.
Would love for you to check out the Colosseum pitch:
