That’s a wrap! What a wonderful way to finish 2024: a busy weekend in London for the Change of the King’s Guard. Our ceremonial visit included Buckingham Palace, the Cenotaph, Parliament and the Imperial War Museum. Massive thanks to the Welsh Guards @TreorchyComp @CttWales
Well done to our new junior cadets @CCFcadets @TreorchyComp helping their community by distributing water around the school site following Storm Bert. Diolch @DwrCymru @TreorchyHealth
Today our @treorchyComp @CCFcadets represented their communities at the services of Remembrance at Blaenrhondda and Treherbert with @PoppyLegion, veterans, councillors from @RCTCouncil and members of the local emergency services. #RemembranceSunday #WeWillRememberThem

We love and esteem languages in #MI6. Pass a high level language exam & you get a handwritten letter in green ink. Command of a foreign language evinces respect for our overseas partners and helps us to build rapport and trust needed to recruit our secret agents 1/2
Massive well done to both our teams at the @CttWales Cadet Shooting Competition Cadsaam. Excellent marksmanship and teamwork in testing weather. No silverware this year, but getting though to the last 8 in quarter finals is a massive achievement. @TreorchyHealth @TreorchyComp

Congratulations to Company Sergeant Major Brendan Dimond of @TCSYear12and13. He has been presented with his pace stick by our Deputy Headteachers after his promotion in London. Well done; an excellent end of year parade. @CttWales @TreorchyComp
Another great trip for our CCF pupils to London for their ceremonial and remembrance activities. Thanks to all involved.

Becoming a Cadet can be life changing for an individual. In fact one of the clear changes we've seen in Cadets habits is the improvement in self discipline. This in turn has impacted:
✅ Attendance
💼 Effort
🎯 Attainment at school

Well done to all the @TreorchyComp cadets who paraded today , and to the other pupils who also attended the Remembrance services at Blaenrhondda and Treherbert. You did a great job of representing your Treorchy community, and paying your respects in some very challenging weather.
A mesmerising day with @ChallengeWales today sailing in the Bristol Channel. Awesome team work and skill development for our pupils, and finding out about sailing opportunities.

Our @TreorchyComp pupils were pleased to welcome Colonel James Phillips, the Veterans’ Commissioner for Wales to Valley Veterans. Col Phillips toured the facility and also made time to promote one of our new Corporals. @CadetsinSchools @CttWales @RFCAforWales @TreorchyHealth

We were thrilled to welcome The Prince and Princess of Wales, accompanied by Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis to #RIAT23 this afternoon! The family enjoyed meeting crews and young members of the public in our TechnoZone.
