A brilliant detailed and sympathetic account, capturing a lost era, charting the rise and fall of our only ever World Cup winning team. A heartbreaking story of triumph to tragedy told with loving empathy and stark realism.
Only a couple of chapters into this book, but it's a well researched, insightful and stimulating Biblical perspective on true manhood

How appropriate, what a joy that my final 2 appointments as FIEC Director for London were yesterday at London City Mission with a beloved brother, @Windy_London and will be tomorrow at Stockwell Baptist for the FIEC London Gathering in a church that is close to my heart.

If you are in church leadership in London, save the date for our next London Gathering: Thursday 29 February, 2024, at @Stockwell_BC.
We will be giving thanks for @TrevArcher as he moves on from his role, hearing from the Bible, eating together, and more.
