How Marvel DESTROYED Scarlet Witchโ€™s character in Multiverse of Madness. โ€ข Wanda sacrificed her own happiness and gave up her family to free the people of Westview in WandaVision. โ€ข Elizabeth Olsen reportedly expected Wanda to be Doctor Strangeโ€™s ally, only to learn weeks before filming that she would be the main villain. โ€ข The writers reportedly hadnโ€™t watched all of WandaVision because the productions overlapped, creating a disconnect between the two stories. โ€ข Wanda went from a grieving hero struggling with her powers to a multiversal mass murderer willing to kill anyone standing between her and another version of her children. โ€ข Elizabeth Olsen even stopped reading script drafts because they kept changing.
