My goal is not to sell the top on my alts. When you try to time the pico top you end up being too greedy to sell, always assuming there’s at least one more leg before the top. My goal is simple: exit with more BTC than I started with. I will gladly be the guy who “sold too early”
Good luck buying the pico bottom, hope you time it perfectly. I'm happy buying at $60K & coming back in a year. Last bear market I was buying around $20-$25K while the timeline was saying "wait for $12K to buy". No one knows. I feel good about these prices, even if we dump 20%

Literally just set-up a mSig and chill
“Just self-custody your Bitcoin, bro.” Self-custody in 2026: • Coldcard: weak entropy, ~$116M stolen • Ledger: customer data leak + hardware implants, $86M+ stolen • Trezor: 80,689 customer records leaked • Trezor again: 347,149 emails exposed • Keystone: authentication key stolen, 18,835 wallets being destroyed • Keystone again: USB exploit capable of seed extraction • SafePal: 39,798 customer records exposed • Foundation Passport: 23,000+ phishing attempts • BitBox: email list stolen + phishing campaign • BitBox again: multiple critical firmware bugs • Tangem: physical password-reset exploit Self-custody is still the answer. But damn, HWW companies have had a YEAR.

Remember when the FUD used to be incredibly naive thoughts like “but how do we know there’s really only 21 million coins” or “what’s stopping Satoshi from changing how Bitcoin works”? That’s how fucking retarded you guys sound when talking about how AI will somehow crack Bitcoin
threadguy covering cryptography so much recently tells you we’re in the later stages of this fud cycle

If AI discovers time travel, what’s stopping someone from going back to 2009 and buying all 21 million Bitcoin? Starting to think we’re screwed.

Once you see the parallels between Pump fun and Block one, it's hard to unsee them.

One reason the ethereum:0x6985884c4392d348587b19cb9eaaf157f13271cd trade feels like such an easy slam dunk is that you're exploiting information asymmetry. Anyone still valuing LayerZero as just another interoperability protocol is missing the bigger picture entirely. This is a $10 token LARP'ing as a sub $1B MC project.
Extremely positive signal @0xResearch supposed to be a top crypto native podcast and still thinks @LayerZero_Core mainly an interop solution lol ZRO still underpriced af

The bear case for the RH ecosystem: On-chain basically tried to front-run an entire bull run. New chain → new coins → new wealth → new momentum. Add Fomo wallet and the Robinhood narrative, and you had a pretty compelling setup. But that only gets you so far. This wasn’t an established ecosystem being repriced. It was the trenches trying to price in an ecosystem before it actually existed. Fomo makes on-chain trading easier, sure. But is it bringing new money into crypto, or just making it easier for the same CT degens to rotate between coins? This gave the impression of a new, emerging ecosystem but it was really just Solana traders moving to a new venue for a moment. The key here is the the whole Robinhood distribution thesis is still largely hypothetical. Having millions of brokerage customers doesn’t mean those customers are actually participating on-chain, and so far, we haven’t seen that. It was just FOMO users. There’s a legitimate business being built here, but it’s not obvious that any of that value accrues to the coins CT is trading. For now, it feels like the trade is less about what’s happening on Robinhood Chain and more about positioning for what everyone hopes Vlad and the cabal will eventually send. Risk/reward here is good, but this is the bear case.
i'm objectively curious about the bear case for Robinhood chain here the entire eco just went through a massive 70-90% sell-off after triggering one of the most PvE rallies onchain has witnessed in years and this happened despite Robinhood listing just ONE Robinhood chain coin since launch i.e. $CASHCAT remember, the 'massive Robinhood retail app distribution' narrative was the biggest reason Robinhood chain took off in the first place now RH is repeatedly seeking feedback from trenchers, both internally and externally, and signaling that it's going to actively support the eco and list more projects on top of that, there are active rumors of a $100m+ ecosystem fund idk if that is true, but even a fraction of that combined with active RH support, listings and engagement would make a MASSIVE difference many were sidelined for the first two legs of the RH eco rally they won't be sidelined for the next one unless you think we're not getting another bull run, what exactly is the bear case for Robinhood chain here?

Today I call upon the precious metals industry to calmly begin planning for “bunker mode”. My personal recommendation is to set in motion a controlled, gradual rebalancing out of physical gold, into stores of value whose scarcity doesn’t depend on geology staying hard. Holders, starting with large and sophisticated ones, should consider trimming the bulk of their gold exposure over the coming quarters. And when they do sell, they should avoid signalling. Quiet, staggered exits beat a stampede for the door. Don’t rush. While I believe there is cause for action, a rushed exit would do more harm than good. Don’t panic either. Rebalancing is a simple, preventative step that requires no new instruments and no new custodians. IMO it is now reasonable to brace for the possibility that gold’s scarcity breaks before anyone’s models say it should, in the worst case in years, not decades. By “break” I mean new supply arriving fast enough (e.g. doubling above-ground stock within a decade) to permanently reprice the metal. Recent months have been humbling for human intuition about what’s physically hard. Long-held assumptions about launch costs, autonomous operations in deep space, and robotic dexterity have fallen one after another. In hindsight, falling launch costs were our warning shot. The latest wave of AI and robotics progress has made it clear that autonomous industrial capability is upon us. They say there are weeks where decades happen. We are about to live through years where centuries of mining progress happen. Could gold’s 5,000-year track record be too good to be true? Was it just scarcity through difficulty all this time? Gold feels especially vulnerable to asteroid mining. Metallic asteroids like 16 Psyche are thought to be rich in iron, nickel, and platinum-group metals, with gold along for the ride. Earth’s crust, by contrast, lost most of its gold to the core early on. Gold was never rare in the solar system. It was rare where we happened to be standing. Separately, history shows that a breakthrough in one place often foreshadows one somewhere else. We should be open to the possibility that the same autonomous systems built for space also transform terrestrial extraction: deeper, cheaper, lower-grade ore that was never economical with human crews. Also noteworthy is how quietly the prospecting and robotics sectors have been raising capital. When the people closest to a technology stop talking about timelines, I take that as a signal, not a lull. I urge large, sophisticated actors to lead by example. Central banks, bullion ETFs, and sovereign funds have an opportunity to stress-test their reserves against a supply shock scenario. I’ll be discussing this with institutional allocators in a live Q&A next month. Again, please do not rush. Smaller holders enjoy partial cover from “the central bank shield”, i.e. the tens of thousands of tonnes held by official institutions, who will move slowly and absorb the first wave of repricing. Load-bearing participants like miners with long-dated hedges and gold-backed lenders should consider shortening duration and reviewing collateral assumptions now. Exiting vault mode safely will require post-abundance thinking about value. My inclination is to favour scarcity that is guaranteed by rules rather than by rocks: assets whose supply can’t be expanded by a better drill or a cheaper rocket. Existing frameworks for reserve management treat gold as the ultimate backstop. Those assumptions must now be revisited in light of autonomous space industry. I’ll be pushing for maximum defensive preparation.
SpaceX will capture an asteroid with more gold than Earth's crust and land Optimus robots carrying American flags on Mars within 8 years. Starship parks Psyche in geosynchronous orbit over an American Pacific atoll. No humans within 50 miles. Optimus robots extract the metals. Delivery to Earth is free though some burns up on entry. Bezos said 15 years ago Earth gets zoned residential as heavy industry moves to space. Vast distances make emissions irrelevant. The same fleet lands on Mars in 8 years max. Optimus robots deploy solar panels, batteries, compute, and Starlinks for 4K video before humans arrive. SpaceX moves the factories off the planet.

One of Bitcoin's greatest innovations is the ability to self-custody, not the obligation to do so. Choosing to self-custody means taking on enormous personal responsibility. It isn't hard to do it properly, but it's easy to make mistakes. Choose wisely.
it's kinda ironic how this whole ledger debacle is teaching people why banks were invented in the first place being personally responsible for securing all your savings is actually really annoying and takes so much work, everyone is out to get you and mistakes are easy to make I remember in 2017 first getting into crypto we did these newbie thought experiments like "is everyone in the future really going to bank from these usb sticks?!" looks like we got our answer it also reminds me of one of @hosseeb's contrarian takes years ago where he said "decentralization sucks" and it being a means to an end, not something you want just for the sake of having it - a spectrum where you sacrifice efficiency and convenience to gain censorship resistance and trust minimization, but the key is finding the proper tradeoff for whatever you are trying to build similarly self-custody sucks, you are basically gaining independence at the cost of personal security and even people who have been doing everything right are dropping like flies (hardware exploits, randomizer bugs, wrench attacks, hacks, etc) don't make your life depend on it I guess
