Year 1/2 created a fact file on significant people in History. 📜⏳ They all did a super job and showed their brilliant work to Year 3/4. 🤩

Reception have been keeping cool in the sunshine this week by taking part in water play, taking regular rest and hydration breaks and having the occasional ice pop as a lovely treat. ☀💦

Year 1/2 used a stopwatch to time different activities to explore our time unit in Maths. ⌛ Why not see what activities you can time at home.

Year 5/6 have been keeping cool in the science lab and have been making their own blood. 🧪👨🏻‍🔬👩🏻‍🔬 Ask us what the three components of blood are and what they do.

On Tuesday we celebrated Purple Day at TASP. 💜 We have been helping to raise money for @PancreaticCanUK, as nominated by one of our students. We completed a sports carousel of different activities to raise sponsorship. Thank you to everyone who supported this worthy cause!

TASP are wishing England football team a big good luck in their first World Cup 2026 match tonight. ⚽ Reception have been busy practising their footballs skills, making paper flags and worked as a team to create a big flag outside. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Look at some of the mini-beasts EYFS have found around our school grounds!🪱🐞🐛 After learning about different types of minibeasts and finding them, they had a go at designing their own. They used their imagination to combine different features from a range of creatures.

From performances on the stage 🎭, to role play ice cream vans🍦and football goal celebrations ⚽. Reception have been developing their gross motor skills, maths skills, social and emotional understanding and so much more in our new, purpose built outdoor area.

Year 6 celebrated completing their SATs yesterday afternoon with ice cream, dodgeball and extra playtime. 🍦🏐🥳 We are so proud of them! 🤩

Reception have been learning about the butterfly life cycle. 🦋 What better way to learn than observe the changes in real time?

Year 1/2 have started looking at fractions. ➗ They collected materials from the outdoor area, then split these into two equal groups to make half. We wonder what objects they could half at home? 🤔

In DT, Year 1/2 created story books about Humpty Dumpty with moving mechanisms. 🥚⚙ Their target audience was Reception class, so they made sure that their books were bright, colourful and fun to use. Reception then came and listened to and read the story with Year 1/2. 😍

Year 5/6 are taking advantage of the beautiful weather and have completed their Spelling, Punctuation and Grammar lesson in the orchard today. ☀🤩

This morning, we hosted a Coffee Morning and Drop Everything And Read event for our children and their families. ☕📚 The focus was on friendship - what makes a good friend, and how we can get to know our peers better.❤️ #Friendship #Reading #Community

Year 1 have created equal groups using objects from the playground as part of our multiplication and division learning. ✖️➗ We also know how to count in 2's, 5's and 10's! Ask us to show you our new skills. 🤩

In Term 4, our EYFS and KS1 children received their next Book Build book. 📚 They love receiving these and growing their home libraries. We hope you've enjoyed reding with them at home too. #BookBuild #WeLoveReading

Our School Council wanted us to have a school song, so we decided it would be exciting to make our own.🎤Each child gave ideas and suggestions and these were used to create it. We are so proud of our community and think our song is a special way to celebrate us and our values.🥰

White Rose Science have been at TASP this week, helping KS2 pupils explore the science of light. They spent time in our state of the art science lab, investigating how light travels, how shadows are formed and how we see things. 🧑‍🔬 #WhiteRoseScience #BritishScienceWeek
