DJ’s that complain about their set time for any other reason then logistics (i.e. another party on same night) are an embarrassment and are doing it for all the wrong reasons. You should be fit for any set time and not desire the adoration of a full dancefloor. Ban them! πŸ˜‚

I get the whole adapt or be left behind thing, but I swear the current state of djing and social media feels unsustainable and exhausting. The last thing I should be thinking when I’m playing is β€œI need this filmed for instagram”

This isn’t a dig at any artist or dj btw, gotta respect everyone’s grind. But it’s mad that I feel so much pressure to get content filmed for socials when I’m DJing or making tunes, it’s actually exhausting

No wonder small promoters are pretty much non existent in London, not feasible at all to put parties on independently anymore. Super sad to see. Guess it’s just big room raving from now on. SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL RAVE.
