I am still in shock & mourning over the end of #Finale, the notation software I've used for 22 years. Today is the 19th anniversary of #HurricaneKatrina. And my cancer doc wants me to get new CT scans & a blood transfusion. Holy cow. What a week this has been. #Dorico

I received an email re: a composer residency I had a good chance of getting (already got 1 in Ireland), only to read it was postponed because of the $30 million cut to arts funding in Florida. The arts ARE business. Artists create an ECONOMY that boosts other businesses.
