Angels are called god in the Bible. Demons are called god in the Bible. Moses is called god in the Bible Solomon and Judges are called god in the Bible. Jesus is called god in the Bible. But there is only one almighty God: Jehovah — the GOD of gods.

The oldest translation of John 1:1 refers to Jesus as a god, not the God.

Jehovah is the sole true God (Deut 6:4; Isa 45:5; John 17:3). Jesus is His first creation, the firstborn only-begotten Son (Col 1:15; Rev 3:14; Prov 8:22), the agent through whom all other things were made (John 1:3; Col 1:16; 1 Cor 8:6). Prehumanly and after resurrection he is Michael the archangel, sole chief of the angels (Jude 9; 1 Thess 4:16; Rev 12:7; Dan 12:1).

Jesus Christ died for our sins; “[Jesus] himself bore our sins in his own body on the stake, so that we might die to sins and live to righteousness. And “by his wounds you were healed.”” 1 Peter 2:24 “…I became dead…” Revelation 1:18
