For years, Dylan Adams denied doing anything to Holly Bobo. Then, despite Intellectual Disability, he was placed in the custody of a former Memphis cop working with the Bobos & the TBI. Find out what happened next in this week's all new @Undisclosedpod: audioboom.com/posts/8968968-…

Respectfully, you thought a meme was a handwriting exemplar.
SBI response to Faith Hedgepeth Murder Trial Verdict The investigation into the death of Faith Hedgepeth took nine years and nine days to solve. Over that time, more than 25 SBI special agents worked tirelessly with our partners from the Chapel Hill Police Department on this case. This wasn’t a “cold case,” because the investigators never stopped looking for the person responsible for Faith’s murder. Agents and staff logged thousands of hours during the investigation and preparation for this case and trial. They followed thousands of leads, conducted hundreds of interviews, and collected and tested more than 400 DNA samples. The case has become part of how the SBI trains. New special agents now study it at the SBI academy. It has also left a lasting mark on the Chapel Hill Police Department and the Durham County District Attorney’s Office, whose personnel worked alongside the SBI throughout. The SBI is glad this chapter has found resolution for the family, friends, and all those who have worked diligently over the years to bring justice and closure. Again, we extend our condolences to Faith's family and friends. SBI Director Chip Hawley added, "I would like to extend my grateful appreciation to all the partnering agencies who assisted in getting justice for Faith and her family. I applaud their hard work, determination, and dedication to this monumental case in the SBI's history." @NCACP @NCSheriffsAssoc @NCAGO @NC_Governor @DurhamCounty @ChapelHillPD @chapelhillgov @UNCPolice @UNC @NCSHP

#MiguelSalgueroOlivares due process rights were violated. If you think what happened over the past 12 days in a North Carolina courthouse by means of admissible and legal evidence being presented to a jury to convict a man for murder in a cold case where IGG didn’t identify a killer; rather IGG identified the only single source partial profile that came from 5 sperm heads. (LE said was Planted through a used condom or identifies 3-5 day old consensual Sex) Miguel, like all of us, has the right to confront his accusers. This should include challenging the investigation and its decisions to employ non traditional LE techniques to “solve” the case. Miguel, should have been allowed, in front of the jury, question investigators why they turned to Investigative Genetic Genealogy? And How could identifying old sperm from days before Faith’s murder help solve her murder? The jury had a right to know that in 2014 - right before IGG was explored in 2015 by cHPD… investigators went a different route, and were unable to rule out the expert opinion and conclusion it received based on investigators explaining the crime scene, victimology, and statements from witnesses. Which was investigators wanted to test (by asking an expert) if it was possible for someone to plant genetic evidence of another from a used condom? How Miguel should have gotten this to be admissible was by pointing to the fact of the following: Miguel’s lawyers needed to argue that this wasn’t just “police/lay opinion” which would render it inadmissible and improper to present to the jury.. however.. These lay/police officers in 2013/2014 asked DNA and Lab expert Erin Ermish in 2014 if it was her expert opinion that the crime scene evidence could be consistent with a staged crime scene - by and through a used condom from an individual not associated with either girl and planted for the purpose to lead investigators down the wrong path? Ermish said YES, bc it was rare amount and just heads. This Couldn’t be ruled out. So why wasn’t Miguel able to elicit this expert opinion from Ermish in front of the jury and ask her in front of the jury what led to her being asked for an expert opinion on this matter? This was all shutdown by the judge in pretrial rulings. Miguel was unable to put on a complete defense. He was unable to explain the crime scene. He was unable to put on a third party culprit defense. He was unable to solicit expert opinion from the State’s own expert that pointed to a staged crime scene and Rosario being the only plausible person who was involved in this staging due to the timeline and chronology of events. How about Mistaken identification of who was in the bed/apartment at the time of the attack? This was not Faith’s apartment’s. The jury not being allowed to hear anything about Takoy Jones, Brandon Edward’s, Karena Rosario, etc.. as far as being involved in ANYTHING to do with the murder of Faith. (Even though Jones broke into the apartment, busted down two doors, and threatened to kill Faith if Karena didn’t get back together with him) The little time that had passed of this incident which resulted in a July 11, 2012 Restraining order, protecting the two girls from Takoy, was just weeks before Faith’s murder. No traditional law enforcement investigative techniques that are usually employed by SBI agents/CHPD and investigators to include tipsters, confidential informants led to THE IDENTIFICATION of Miguel as a person of interest. The jury needed to hear this. Why? Because the narrative/theory of what happened to Faith has been all over the place.. but no narrative truly included an SA. Rather it was the opposite, that Faith KNEW who her killer was and it was personal and so was the note/letter. So now truly think about how reckless it was of the prosecution/LE when they agreed to use IGG in this case, for the purpose to identify the 5 sperms that the investigators believed was planted and not the killer.. especially since SA kit neg.

Imagine a referee who won’t let your best players on the field, disqualifies your best plays & won’t let your coach challenge the other team’s moves, all while he hands THEM every advantage. Then they win & he claims he called a fair game. #MiguelSalgueroOlivares #FaithHedgepeth

THE MURDER TRIAL OF FAITH HEDGEPETH... MR. ERIQ posted WHAT? Let's talk about this Facebook post claiming that someone has been waiting 14 years to file a federal lawsuit against the Town of Chapel Hill in connection with the Faith Hedgepeth case... If this post is referring to Eriq Takoy Jones IV, there are some important legal questions to consider. What could he potentially sue over? Civil rights violations: If he has evidence that investigators violated his constitutional rights, such as fabricating evidence or engaging in other unlawful conduct, he could potentially explore a federal civil-rights claim. Defamation: If someone made false statements of fact that damaged his reputation, he might have a claim, depending on who made the statements, the circumstances, and applicable legal protections. Unlawful investigative conduct: If he can establish that authorities engaged in legally actionable misconduct, he may have grounds to explore a claim under federal or North Carolina law. BUT HERE IS THE CATCH: Being investigated, questioned, or considered a person of interest does not automatically give someone grounds to sue. And if he was never criminally charged, a malicious-prosecution claim would face a significant legal obstacle. There is also the issue of timing. A lawsuit filed approximately 14 years after the events would raise serious statute-of-limitations questions. The applicable deadline depends on the particular claim and when it accrued, along with any legally recognized exceptions. So the big questions are: What exactly does he allege the town did wrong? What evidence supports those allegations? And why would the lawsuit be legally viable now? I would LOVEEEE to see what DISCOVERY LOOKS LIKE HERE... #faithhedgepeth #faithhedgepethtrial #ChapelHill #TrueCrime #chapelhillnc #northcarolina #TRIAL #VerdictWatch

We shouldn't have to take government agencies to court to obtain public records. But when necessary, we will. This is just one example of how far we're willing to go to uncover the facts and fight for the public's right to know. We will never stop fighting for transparency.
After months of following this case, we finally have an order from Judge Megan Marshall in the EWU Media lawsuit against the City of Moscow and Moscow Police Department. I also just want to take a moment to thank everyone who has followed along with me throughout this case. My aim has always been to share the documents, follow the court proceedings, and keep you informed, and I’ll continue to do so. Thank you all for your continued support. It really does mean a lot to me, and I’m grateful to have you here as we continue following these cases. ❤️ 📄All documents relating to this case are available here: docs.google.com/spreadsheets… The City has not met their burden here. As a result, the City is ordered to disclose the requested records to EWU. 10/20/2026- ORDER ~34 Pages drive.google.com/file/d/1w4u… #EWU #MPD #MoscowID #FBI #PublicRecords

Really hard to see, but as @Wienekelo has recently said about the Michael James case, it’s challenging for a jury to see the defendant as a 19 year old kid. #FaithHedgepeth
These were pics of Miguel in 2012. These pics were shown in an evidentiary hearing in August of 2026. So why not show these to the jury now, in a closing? Miguel was 19 and fit. He dressed nice and took care of himself. This is who Katie met while she was a biology major and future grad of UNC in 2015. Katie Ellen worked with Miguel and loved him in 2012. They worked together at a pizza place on Franklin Street. The street where a bunch of action was. Where East End was and where Karena was on Wednesday night with Brandon Edward’s and a friend. Miguel just moved to the states in 2010 with his mom. He didn’t commit any crimes from 2012- 2021.. this easy trigger rage crazed person the state tried to tell the world about for 2 weeks was gross. No proof of shit in this case except for days old sperm head in Faith and a dirty ass apartment with weeks and months old food, clothes, panties thrown all over the apartment. To include cups, bottles.. #MiguelOlivares #FaithHedgepeth

It's crazy that the State is objecting to facts not in evidence when their entire two-hour closing argument sounded more like fiction than the actual evidence presented at trial. #FaithHedgepeth #FaithHedgepethTrial

We're working on a thingie, contd. 🧵🪡🚨🔔‼️ Rick's strongest lever was his wife. Before his arrest, Richard Allen's emotional and psychological stability primarily rested on one person: his wife of over 30 years, Kathy Allen. As his treating psychologist, Wala identified this from the start. In November 2022, she noted that Rick was "extremely selfless when it comes to his wife" and under oath agreed that Rick's "chivalrous attitude had always been there" during his solitary confinement. Over the following months, Wala would trace a man who was falling apart around his wife's absence. In January 2023, Wala documented a "nervous breakdown” and later testified that not getting a letter from his wife “would probably be a big thing." In February 2023, Wala wrote that Rick was "breaking down" on every call with Kathy. In March 2023, Wala recorded Rick's depression and withdrawal in her clinical notes and would later recall - under oath and without prompting - that "it was about wanting his wife to be able to visit". 1/

Nate chambers pictured below is the officer who’s DNA is in faith Hedgepeth’s vehicle. On the parking lot 🅿️ entry ticket to the Wallace parking deck from 9/7/2012. The ticket in Faith’s car said 12:53am entry. Followed by Karena saying at 2:10am in a text to Faith … “where r u!?” In pretrial motions the prosecution claimed Faith and Karena walked out the club together at 2:07am. Funny that phone records would have Karena texting faith where are you at 2;10am if the prosecution is right.. Also the defense did not call Officer Evans from chapel hill police to tell the jury that she watched the Wallace parking garage video (that the state said didn’t exist on direct with Officer Walker) Funny.. only 3 cars exited the Wallace garage deck - matching Faith’s car according to Evans - and those 3 white cars were at 2:04am 3:12am and 3:18am.. Now who wants to talk to me about timelines and why the fuck this wasn’t presented to the jury.. also Karena’s cell phone was bouncing around like a ping pong ball on cell towers between 8:45am and 10:15am on the morning of Sept 7th when Karena said she was at Jordan’s the entire time. Jordan’s house was dialed into one tower in 2012. Why would Karena’s be jumping around to 5 towers yet staying at Jordan’s house!? Simple / it wouldn’t be. Take your DNA and shove it up your ass! These Defense attorneys can kiss my asd too! You fight to the very end regardless if Miguel ran out of money. Or was it Katie’s mom paying that bill!? Nate Chambers right after Miguel’s arrest in 2021 is awarded a lifetime achievement. Nate chambers the same dude who is black and who’s dna was in faith’s car…

Y'all watch this shit. The State of NC filed a MIL weeks before trial to exclude 3rd party evidence in the #FaithHedgepeth trial. This is a pretrial hearing where the defense is arguing to be allowed to show inconsistencies in the roommates statements. Judge, r u Lisa Lott??

A cell-tower data expert from the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation tries to pass off a viral internet joke as an investigative handwriting exemplar in North Carolina v. Miguel Salguero-Olivares, you don't even need a reverse image search to spot the incompetence…just basic common sense. Even though this state exhibit was completely debunked, it serves as a stark reminder that this is a murder trial: we urgently need more cameras and eyes on these courtrooms when individuals wield that kind of unchecked power over people's lives. 💯💯💯

We're working on a thingie. 🧵🪡🚨🔔‼️ The person charged with keeping Richard Allen sane was personally following the case against him. Richard Allen's prison psychologist, Dr. Monica Wala, testified under oath that she had followed the Delphi investigation for years before Allen was ever arrested and delivered to Westville Correctional Facility. Wala listened to true-crime podcasts and YouTube channels devoted to the case. She belonged to Delphi-focused social media groups. She used the Department of Corrections' internal information system to pull case materials for her own personal interest, conduct she later acknowledged likely violated policy. And she testified that, before she ever laid eyes on Richard Allen, she had already formed a profile of the kind of person who would have committed these killings. She disclosed none of this to her employer or to the Department of Corrections at the time, because, in her words, she did not feel it was relevant. This is the person the system placed at Allen's cell door as his treating clinician, his suicide-watch lifeline, and very often the only human being he was permitted to speak with for months at a time. 1/
