BFF.fm presents: True Crit

The True Crit team live 200 miles apart but @LizzieBonito has driven to Cornwall for @Jon_Digital’s birthday and they both have respective Steely Dan earworms, as is tradition. Happy birthday Jon! 🖤

We've got something to tell you...

Working on some brand new bits and pieces this morning at True Crit HQ 🎧

Happy 40th birthday to Gaucho! How annoyed are we that we didn’t coincide our podcast episode with such an auspicious anniversary? Very! We’re consoling ourselves by putting the final touches to episode 6, on Steely Dan’s magnum opus Aja - out on Tuesday on @BFFdotFM 🖤

In the meantime, why not watch this video of The Dukes of September (including Michael McDonald 🍷) doing Kid Charlemagne live because it’s really jolly, and god we need a bit of jolly right now youtu.be/83IX8iKd_28

If you’ve listened to episode 1 of True Crit you’ll know about this unexpected cover of Dirty Work by The Pointer Sisters 🖤 youtu.be/io4tVuFXe0I

A five star review from Michael Flatley, Dance Lord and antique flute expert? Don’t just take his word for it, we’re on Apple, Spotify and the @BFFdotFM podcast network bff.fm/broadcasts/24180 🖤

We talk a bit about other songs and artists during True Crit and if you’ve never heard the Christina Aguilera X The Strokes mashup we mention in Episode 1 you’re in for a treat youtu.be/ShPPbT3svAw podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcas…

Poor Dave Palmer, only managed to stay in the Dan for one record. Here’s a clip from Midnight Special, weird to hear him take Don’s part. We talk about this song and all the other bangers on Can’t Buy A Thrill. Check it out 👇 bff.fm/shows/true-crit youtu.be/-jtqDbH4a3E

That’s an amazing fact! Thank you for solving the mystery.
