@PeteHegseth named the institutions... CFR, Brookings, the general class... in 37 seconds in a video by @Liz_Wheeler . Within 72 hours of his nomination, a color revolution planning document cited him as an insider threat.
They didn't go after him because of drinking. They didn't go after him because of women. They went after him because every color revolution manual ever written says the same thing: you cannot topple a government unless the security forces defect. And a loyal Secretary of Defense is the one person who makes sure they don't.

About a month ago someone started quietly putting little Jesus figurines in all our work trucks. This morning I noticed mine was taped down so it wouldn’t slide around. Nobody says a word about them. We just leave them there. In a job where you generally can’t show your faith, it’s nice to see these small, quiet things that everyone respects. Someone cared enough to put them there, and the rest of us leave them alone because it means something to people.

While a handful of ballots remain to be counted, it is clear that we have narrowly lost this race.
I want to congratulate David Boyd on his victory and wish him well as he prepares to serve our Southside community.
To everyone who knocked doors, put up a sign, donated, or trusted me with your vote - thank you. To my wife and family and the volunteers who gave so much of themselves to this campaign over the last two years, I am more grateful than I can ever put into words.
Serving the Southside has been one of the greatest honors of my life. I am incredibly proud of my record and what all we accomplished at the Statehouse.
For Republicans, the message could not be clearer. Voters spoke in May and again this fall. If we want to win, we need a new direction in leadership here in Indiana. I look forward to being an active part of that conversation in the years ahead.
This is a tough and humbling setback, but my commitment to our community and the principles I ran on has never depended on holding an office. There is much more work to do.
