FIRST THE CHURCH IS TOLD TO BE SEPARATE AND SILENT. THEN THE CHURCH IS EXPECTED TO BOW DOWN TO GODLESSNESS. An estimated 70 MILLION AMERICANS who identify as Christian don’t participate in elections. What does that mean for the church’s presence in the public square? Silence. Submission. Suppression. And all hell breaks loose. History offers a sobering warning about the relationship between the church and the state, and what happens when religious freedom gives way to government control. The consequences don’t end with one generation.

THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY AND ISLAM: Antichrist movements do not need shared truth when they have a shared enemy. And if we don’t wake up to this today, we will not wake up from this tomorrow.

During my visit to the Israeli Embassy in Washington, D.C., hosted by the National @FaithAdvisory Board, I watched footage of the October 7 Hamas massacre. I cannot unsee what I saw. Men. Women. Children. The elderly. Innocent civilians brutally murdered as terrorists shouted, “Allahu Akbar.” This is not geopolitical. It is deeply spiritual. This is the deadly fruit of the demonic ideology Hamas embraces in the name of Islam and Allah. But make no mistake: Muslims are not the enemy. They are the mission field. Think about the contrast. Islam kills in the name of Allah, believing such violence earns paradise. But Jesus Christ left heaven and willingly gave His life so that we could receive eternal life. One seeks paradise by taking lives. The other offers paradise by giving His own. While the world spreads lies, the Church must proclaim the truth.

Providence is not Christianese for luck. Voddie Baucham once explained that God’s providence was present when his life was spared, and would be no less present on the day his life came to an end. Today marks one year since that day came. God is sovereign over the day of our birth, the day of our death, and every day in between. “And in Your book they all were written, the days fashioned for me, when as yet there were none of them.” (Psalm 139:16)

Objects in mirror are closer than they appear. When I first wrote Discerning The Devil’s Playbook, I identified four plays that have repeatedly appeared throughout history: Contradict the Truth. Control the News. Conflict to Groups. Convert the Youth. I originally looked at these plays through the rearview mirror of Nazi Germany. But history isn’t the only place we should be looking. The battle is spiritual. The weapons are spiritual. And discernment requires us to recognize the enemy’s strategies without being swept away by every theory, headline, or viral claim. That’s why I returned to the book and released the Freedom Edition, including a new aftermath in memory of Charlie Kirk and the events that followed September 10, 2025. The playbook isn’t new. Our responsibility is to discern it before we’re played by it. And remember: objects in mirror are closer than they appear. “Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.” (Ephesians 6:11)

Why is nobody talking about Tyler Robinson’s latest defense filing? They’re not arguing, “You have the wrong guy.” They’re essentially arguing, “You have the right guy, but the wrong motive/aggravating circumstances.” But when conspiracy becomes your conviction, not even the defense’s own words can break the spell.
