He's all smiles now, give Danny Trejo a machete and you'll be wearing your goolies for earrings! Issue 9 takes a look at the fun, bloodthirsty antics of the very first Machete movie #dannytrejo #machete #bloodbath #horror #horrormovie #slasher #mexico #machetedonttext #latinas
My Friday late night movie will be a long overdue re-watch of the 1975 satanic shocker, The Devil's Rain - featuring the great Tom Skerritt, who sadly passed away this week.
With the sad passing of prolific exploitation director Tom DeSimone this week, last night myself and @lordRsBiscuits enjoyed his 1986 classic REFORM SCHOOL GIRLS. I really enjoy this one, Tom filled it with some fabulous characters, with a great cast and it's lots of sleazy fun.
Tonight, myself and @lordRsBiscuits took a trip to the Louisiana swamp for the 2011 Sid Haig starring monster mash, CREATURE. I really enjoyed it's low budget mix of stock characters, rubber suits, practical fx and gratuitous nudity. Would definitely upgrade to a nice Blu-ray...
A big thank you to my pal @lordRsBiscuits who treated us to a 'mystery screening' at Nottingham's Vue last night. Turned out to be CLAYFACE, a movie that I'd got absolutely no intention of seeing myself, but (apart from getting too daft in the last 20min) really enjoyed!! 📽️👍👍
There was never any doubt that I was going to bloody love seeing @THEWENDYJAMES Transvision Vamp play live last night, but GOOD HEAVENS!! They absolutely blew the roof off. It's been a looooooong wait, but TVV are most definitely back, thank you.😍🎸🎶
And WHAT a discovery (for me) the support band @YeeLoi1 was last night!! These super-talented siblings are the wildest punk band this side of @unclepeckerhead's D'UH!! Will be keeping a very close eye on these, I reckon they're destined for really great things...😍🎸🎶
Nottingham's brilliant @mayhem_festival kicks-off this evening. My furry friend @lordRsBiscuits 🐿️ has come to visit for the duration, but I'm missing tonight's films as I'm off to see @THEWENDYJAMES TRANSVISION VAMP playing in Leicester (with the fab-looking @YeeLoi1 ).🎬🎸🎶
In a really crappy world, it's nice to see some good news for a change...

With the recent passing of Marjoe Gortner, last night I had a Marjoe double-bill. MAUSOLEUM has been a long-time guilty pleasure of mine, but it was a first watch of BOBBIE JO AND THE OUTLAW, which I absolutely loved. Just my cup of 70's exploitation fun, with a wonderful cast.

I'm not particularly well-read in the comics department these days, but this film definitely looks like one to see. Have you read CROSSED, @Crawford_Hazle ? 🤔
The creator of THE BOYS.
The director of THE SADNESS.
One of the most depraved comics of all time becomes one of the most depraved movies of all time.

Pioneering X-rated filmmaker Alex deRenzy (Babyface) made his name as one of the most transgressive, creative, and innovative filmmakers working in hardcore. Effortlessly blending counterculture and underground filmmaking sensibility with deft social commentary and a pervasive rebellious streak, none of deRenzy’s films better celebrate his madcap sensibilities than his groundbreaking PRETTY PEACHES trilogy.

SLASHER TRASH: THE ULTIMATE SLASHER DOCUMENTARY (2026) | Official Trailer 🔪🩸
Today is a pretty special day for me.
Almost 10 years ago, I started the Slasher Trash Facebook page as a passionate slasher fan and collector. What began as a place to share my love for the sub-genre grew into a community of more than 200,000 followers – and has now somehow become a documentary carrying the name I created.
I honestly couldn't be prouder to be part of this project.
Working alongside CREATORVC, the award-winning team behind some of my favourite horror documentaries, has been an incredible experience. And getting to collaborate with legendary horror historian Michael Gingold is something I never could have imagined when I started this page all those years ago.
To see Slasher Trash turn into a 4.5-hour love letter to slasher films is genuinely surreal.
But this isn't just my story. It belongs to everyone who has supported this page, shared the posts, discovered new slashers, dug out old favourites and helped this community grow.
This one is for the slasher fans.
Here's the brand new trailer. 🎬
🚨 Pre-orders are now LIVE, so you can get your copy and become part of the next chapter of Slasher Trash. 📀
Made by slasher fans, for slasher fans.
