Was going to make a joke about the last person leaving Carrington had better turn off the light; but Big Jim's probably already cut the electricity and removed the light bulbs, so that can't happen!

馃毃 #mufc Director of Football Jason Wilcox has left Carrington having arrived early this morning. Still awaiting clarity of Carrick鈥檚 future.

Carrick should resign and call out the owners and structure. That would be a massive statement and be a better outcome than getting sacked.

The issues come from above, from the very top. Recruitment has also been poor for years. Players like Shaw, Maguire & Rashford would have been sold years ago. The likes of Mount and Zirkzee should never have been signed. Going into a season with no fit striker is scandalous..

Why spend 拢80 million on Tielmans and Santos when 拢80 million could have been spent on one top player. There was no stand out manager available in the summer so Carrick made some sense. There's no stand out available candidate now. The club will have to pay big to attract one.

Even the Munich Memorial flame has given up. If Big Jim can't even provide some North Sea gas what hope do we have?

So does Carrick go tonight/morning or do we wait until we fail to beat Bournemouth on Sunday?

Where's Maguire for that 4th, has he gone sightseeing round Lake Como?

There's been times under Moyes, Van Gaal, Ole, Jose, Amorim and Ten Hag when you say this is the worst United side you've ever seen, but this is topping all of that. At least those other teams had energy and at times some fight. It's painful to watch.

Maguire should have been flogged after that Europa league final in 2025 when his value was higher. But no, we keep hold on the back of 4 or 5 good games. He's not a top level centre back, far too slow and sluggish. Most clubs sell when players have resale value, we don't.

Things looking up for the 2nd half, Mazraoui has taken off his tights.

A lot of talk of the Sesko injury but we've really missed Bruno Fernandes this season, could do with him back.

Why's doesn't Carrick be brave and make subs to win games? Mount wasn't the right call when he came on.

Was that our best half of the season so far? The formation seems to suit the players. Was certainly Tielmans best half. Just needs to be more clinical in front of goal. Concentration needed at the back, but Yoro amd Maguire playing well. Bruno needs his head on the game.

Not sure what relevance the guy in the Toyota has to this.

Lisandro Martinez is one of the last to arrive at Man United training ahead of crunch talks with club chiefs and Jason Wilcox 馃憖

There aren't many teams in World football who play without a striker. It's not going to catch on. There's people calling out Bruno for his lack of assists, but put a Harry Kane in that team and Bruno is assisting for fun. You can't assist a striker if you've not got one.

I think the players expected a different managerial appointment in the summer as well. Martinez was never going to call out Carrick, but reading between the lines the players expected a proper managerial appointment to build on last year. Players last season where playing for..

the new manager, not for the interim caretaker. Now they aren't playing for a current manager. They want to play for the best. The criticism of Wilcox and Co was as much for the appointment of Carrick as it was for the player signings that where made/not made.

Rashford needs booting back into that bomb squad. One of the worse decisions the club has made was integrating him back in. He doesn't want to be here and his performances have proven that.
