I wanted to fly my two stage liquid this weekend, but I found a problem... I can't *find* the freaking motors. They are too small, I put them in a little box like two years ago and can not for the life of me find it.

I hit my person speed an altitude record at BALLS on a minimum diameter K motor. 13,877 ft and mach 2.2, nothing special for BALLS, but it is still kinda incredible for me as I baby step into the brainrot region. youtube.com/watch?v=grmHqx-s…

I doubt it would ever happen in the Mr. HypeAura era, but I would love for a "where is HLS" version of Bill's "I believe the question was..." incident.

Not going to lie, I saw "Blue" and <hung stage>, and was like "finally, GS3"
One week until the launch window opens for @JAXA_en's Martian Moons eXploration (MMX) mission. Our Pneumatic Sampler, or P-Sampler, will soon be heading to Phobos aboard the MMX spacecraft. Designed to use high-pressure nitrogen gas to collect Phobos regolith, it will support the study of Mars’ moons and their origins. Learn more about P-Sampler: bit.ly/47k14qF

Flew Everlasting Headache at BALLS to 13,877 ft and mach 2.2 GPS unplugged itself, but luckily someone found it an hour or so later and sent the coordinates in.

To all of my followers who have worked on SLS, EGS, or Orion, this is what Elon Musk thinks you should be doing instead. I have spoken to many of you, learned about what you do every day, and have seen the INCREDIBLE things you are testing and building. I have witnessed, first hand, what it takes to send astronauts to the Moon. Your hard work and commitment to our space program, even in the face of criticism like this, is utterly inspiring. I know it couldn't have been easy working on these machines for the past decade, while almost everyone was telling you that it was a waste of time, money and resources, but in the end, you proved everyone wrong (and I have the receipts to prove it). SLS and Orion DID fly. SLS and Orion DID send People to the Moon. SLS and Orion DIDN'T get canceled, and you guys made the ONLY part of the Artemis Program that actually works, possible. I do not think for one second that ANYTHING about our space program would be better if you all were repurposed into "other parts of the Economy" You guys sent astronauts back to the Moon for the first time since Apollo, and are, quite literally, modern American (and European) heros.

It would be better to repurpose the workforce to other parts of the economy

Does anyone know where this ended up? I know Art Thompson hauled a lot of the old crap out of the hangar years ago, but this little guy should go to a museum somewhere. (WAAAM would be fun because of how they treat displays, but it really shouldn't fly again.)
Rocket power at Oshkosh? You bet! Back in 2002, #avgeeks got to see XCOR Aerospace’s EZ Rocket, a heavily modified Rutan Long-EZ equipped with twin rocket engines. Designed to prove that rocket-powered flight could be viable for racing, it put on an incredible demonstration with Dick Rutan at the controls. 📸 Frank Jackowiak #Aviation #Aircraft #Oshkosh #Innovations

I still love that Rocket Lab has a methane torch igniter on their kerosene engine, but uses TEA TEB on their methane engine.

And then I see this creature. Would be a shitty igniter design though.
