Here we go #ISTS42 – recently in Pattaya, Thailand. This is us taking part in the International Sea Turtle Symposium. Eager to collect interesting news from other conservationists around the world and get connected!
The final results of last year's nesting season of the loggerhead turtle on Boa Vista, Cabo Verde are published. Together with Fundação Tartaruga we've secured 10,539 nests on the protected beaches! This all took place between June and October 2023 – what an amazing result!🐢🙌
Wow, we ended up on the nomination list with our beach clean-up activities! 🎉 #oceantributeaward
Now it's time to vote so that we can look forward to some amazing prize money in January. Do we have your tick? oceantributeaward.boot.de/de…
The first #loggerhead turtles have hatched on #BoaVista Cabo Verde. What an awesome start into this year's nesting season! #turtlefoundation #fundacaotartaruga #seaturtles
Great days of #knowledge #sharing lie behind us. Our colleagues Janin (Turtle Foundation, on the left) and Kate (Fundaçao Tartaruga) went on invitation by BIOPAMA & @IUCN_PA to Nairobi to share their experiences with other conservationists. Thanks for this great opportunity!
Hey Cartagena, we're here to talk about #seaturtles. Our Scientific Director Dr Thomas Reischig reviewed the last 5 years with the dog and drone team on Boa Vista and its efficiency yesterday. New record low of 10 poached turtles – let's call it a success! #ISTS41_Cartagena
