Last week we had the pleasure of welcoming Halifax MP @Kate_Dearden to Whitehill! Our student council gave Kate a tour of Evergreen, our new specialist provision, and they planted our Y6 trees! What an amazing experience for our children, and thank you Kate for stopping by⭐
Our children Amelia, Ruben, Wonder, Eliza and Ella have been helping Miss Ackroyd sort all our harvest donations! A massive thank you to everyone that donated and they will be going to local food banks, the Halifax Community Kitchen and Christmas hampers!🍽️
Last Monday Y5 enjoyed an exciting Viking Day! We sketched longboats, solved code-cracking challenges, and recreated fascinating Norse tales. Parents joined us for a hands-on workshop, crafting colourful trollen threads and Viking-style brooches. Thank you to everyone involved!
Tomorrow morning we will be hosting a Macmillan Coffee Morning in the KS1 hall from 8:30am! Come along to help us support an amazing charity💙

F is for Forest School!
At Whitehill, we know it is important for children to learn both in and out of the classroom. That is why we offer a fantastic, hands-on forest school led by Mrs Bryson!
E is for Evergreen🌳
Whitehill has created our enhanced provision, Evergreen, for children who need additional support, but can still thrive in a mainstream setting. Opening September 2025!
